HAIR - Beauty Supply & full Service Salon Exten...

Blair, the owner of the salon, is pleasant up until you express concerns with her work. As many of the reviews on yelp state, Blair is unprofessional, immature, and distasteful when it comes to addressing client concerns and coming to a resolution. I came into the salon to make an appointment for hair color, a hair cut and a hair press. I showed Blair a picture of the color I was hoping to achieve and let her know I was going to be ordering hair extensions and wanted my hair color to match. She explained to me that she felt my hair color was already the same color I was trying to achieve and I explained to her that my hair color was more of an ashy light brown and I wanted a darker warm toned chocolate brown. She confirmed that was something she could do and we set up an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I brought in a sample piece of the extensions I ordered for color reference. She stated again that she believes my natural hair color was the same color. I told her yet again that I believe my hair color is an ash tone and the extensions are a warm tone. She proceeded to choose the color without showing me for concurrence. The entire service lasted roughly 2 hours, which was expected. Towards the end, you could tell that Blair was running behind with the next client coming in and she still didnt have lunch. She then started rushing on pressing my hair, leaving the finished results pretty subpar. My hair is pretty damaged in the front, but you could tell she was running out of time and did not have any interest in really styling it. The entire service cost over $150 for a Rinse hair color, protein treatment, and a hair trim (not a cut and style). When I got home I did a color match of the hair extensions and the color she put in my hair did not match the extensions at all, which was the primary reason for the salon visit. I gave her a call and told her that the color did not match the extensions and when can I come in to get it corrected. She immediately got defensive and again mentioned that there was nothing I could do to get to the color I wanted because my hair color was already that color. She stated my hair color was ashy brown and if Blair thinks ashy brown is the same as warm chocolate brown, then she either fell asleep in cosmo school or is color blind. During the service multiple times I told her I believe the extensions were warm brown and she chose a cool tone brown. She told me the only day she would be able to have me come in was on Tuesday which I explained to her that I work weekdays and work about 50 miles away so there would be no way I could make it on Tuesday. She explained that after that she will be out of state for 2 weeks and there would be nothing that could be done. I asked if anyone else would be able to correct it in the salon and she said no. The entire call she had a passive aggressive tone and demeanor with an unwillingness to compromise. She then said that she wasnt going to talk to me and felt uncomfortable because I was upset and ended the call. Before booking color with Blair, check out her color judgment call in the picture I included and trust the 1 star reviews on yelp. And since Blair has so much unsolicited advice to give about how I shouldnt have purchased hair extensions before getting my hair color, heres some advice for you to chew on; Your customers opinions matter and going above and beyond goes a long way and can speak volumes when it comes to customer retention. A poor attitude and lack of compromise wont get you long term clientele, sweetheart.

I usually order braiding hair on Amazon because Sally's doesn't carry the kind I like and I could not find it anywhere else. I needed hair for an appointment tomorrow though and didn't have time to order it online so I found this place on Google. I'm so glad I did. They have the hair I like (and soooo much more) in a pack 3x bulkier than what I get on Amazon for a better price. I totally recommend this place. The location is really convenient too, right off the freeway.
Tiffany Scott Salon

Tiffany Scott hair extensions Claim that they cause no damage to hair with these extensions... not true in my case !! I wish I didnt believe the posts in the videos of hair becoming healthy with Tiffany Scott hair extensions!! Lies, my hair has been the worst health and my hair color is not even platinum!! Vania told me she could get me platinum like my old pictures, all lies. She corrected it it was better but its not what I intended to pay for that level of work. I think I paid 325 or 350 for a partial highlights that did nothing for my hair color. I wanted to go platinum. That was not achieved. She corrected it but it wasnt what I wanted overall it was just better than what she did. When I had my haircut I just reviewed recently it was horrendous I lost more than half my hair. It was terrifying I will never go back to the salon. I spent $1600 for something I thought was going to be beautiful it did not look like any of Instagram pictures. My scalp hurts Barry port placement of hair extension. Way too high up I could not even wear my hair up and I was getting Comments at work from people saying my taps are showing because they could see my extensions.. when youpay almost $2000 and people are saying that thats embarrassing!!Whats worse was she didnt give me an itemized receipt until I asked her about the charges and she charged me for a blending haircut 125 she spent less than 10 seconds cutting the edges inside literally as part of the install she told me she did refund me but that is very shady. She spent a total of less than two hours to get me platinum or highlights and install.. I was your only client on a Saturday which was suspicious for a good hairstylist. So shes been less than two hours for everything when she claims she spends a lot of time on install it was not customize it was very fast I spent a lot

Tonys Plumbing & Rooter Inc.

I cant say enough good things about this company. I was handling a serious kitchen sink pipe leak for my elderly in-laws. I had a couple of other quotes that left me skeptical since I could tell they were trying to gouge them and or go the insurance route. Either way it did not seem right. I called Tonys and right away I was impressed with the education I got over the phone with Francine. I didnt feel pressured. She made sure someone came out the same day to check it out. I met with Tony later that day, who got there before me. He got right to business, then gave me his professional opinion. There was a definite aged galvanized pipe leak when the faucet was turned on, but it wasnt visible because it was behind the wall, but some of the wall was opened up from a previous fix. What I liked was he gave me possible scenarios of what it would take to fix it. It was mainly an access issue. If it couldnt be fixed from inside, he might need to break stucco from outside. He gave me 3 options. He mentioned he was fairly certain option 1, which cost wise was what I was hopingfor and would take care of it. 2 and 3 would be a little more invasive but would know more once he got into it. He answered all my questions. I decided that day to go with Tonys because I felt comfortable with them and the pricing was fair. Francine scheduled next day service. Tony was able to fix the problem with option 1 and for a little extra fixed the pior plumbers shotty work by replacing all the pipesunderneath the sink. Needless to say, problem was fixed, the price was fair and I would use Tonys again and highly recommend them. Thanks.

Our son Brandon is a sophomore in high school in Irvine. Hes always been active in school, and in his community. He volunteered over 400 hours as a freshman. He competed in debate and Model United Nations. He won many awards. He also plays the cello, and run marathons to raise money to help other students. He has dreams of attending West Point Military Academy to serve his country. In the past year, Brandon has been afflicted with acne. As a teenager that can be devastating. It started to get worse in the freshman year. As parents we were rendered helpless. We desperately needed medical support. After an exhausted search for a good dermatologist, we found Dr. Laila Elkeeb. She has been God sent. Brandon has been receiving personal treatment from her for a month, and hes been getting better each day.Our family is deeply indebted to Dr. Elkeeb for her professionalism, and even more for her humanitarianism. Her extensive experience and knowledge in dermatology give kids like our son a second chance at life. The importance of cosmetic appearance cannot be stressed enough. We live in a visual world that reward good looks. If the eyes are the window to the soul, then the face would be like the title of a book. Our family is very grateful to Dr. Elkeeb for the help we received. We highly recommend her to anyone in need.Grateful father,James Pae
Extra Space Storage
250 N Cota St, Corona, CA 92880, United States
I needed a storage unit last minute, called about 4 places and they were the only ones that were open till late. I called around 5:30 and the person at the site assisted me in setting everything up quickly and even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure everything was ready for me when I got there. After setting up my account they found me a unit and prepared it for me and left a brand new cylinder lock as well.I arrived with my buddies, used the provided gate code, unloaded the uhaul truck and left without issue at around 9 pm.Although I only needed it for the month, I stopped over at the unit a few times and entered without issue regardless of the time. I believe their hours were from 6am to 10pm which was awesome since most places closed at 6pm.The location is also kept very clean and from what I saw there werent any traces of rodents or insects in the storage units or outside. When checking out I informed the office attendant in passing and they went ahead and did all the paperwork for me so that all I had to do was notify them when the unit was empty. They sent me the last few emails and that was it.If I ever needed a storage unit again I would definitely come back to Extra Space Storage as it was an easy stress free experience from start to finish.
Beautiful Body and Beyond
2785 Cabot Dr #152, Corona, CA 92883, United States
I want to start this review with first saying I have had fillers and Botox many times in the past and traditionally go to a plastic surgeon or a business that has very qualified and has extensive experience with the different types of fillers and what should be used and where for enhancement, traditionally in Orange County or Los Angeles. I saw this local business, but in hindsight and looking at their reviews and virtually no outcome photos of patients, instead pictures of the office and staff, I should have viewed this as a red flag of whats to come. However, I do try and support local businesses.I went to this office on a Tuesday. The areas of focus for me initially were to get Botox, laser and potentially thread fillers. One area of concern was tiny lines around my upper lip. The Dr. recommended Dysport to address my upper lip and stated it might cause a little dribble at times when drinking from a glass. Since the Dr. should be the expert on how to address this problem I agreed, I thought this a little dribble was manageable.Fast forward to Saturday, post Dysport and filler. The Dysport administered to my upper lip completely immobilized it creating significant issues with my ability to speak properly, annunciation, difficulty with eating food and drinking, inability to even purse my lips to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. In addition, it exacerbated my frown lines even worse than prior to this treatment with both corners of my mouth turning downward.I spoke with Dr. the following week, and let her know what had happened, she stated, yes this can happen. I asked if these things could happen why werent they disclosed prior to this treatment as if I would have known, I would have absolutely declined having Dysport on my top lip. Of course the Dr. wanted me to come in so she could document my issues, which really is her trying to CYA in my opinion. She informed me since it was a small dose it would be gone in the next 6-8 weeks. BOTOX-Dysport traditionally lasts for (3) month, (6) months at best for a regular dose. What added insult to my injury is the receptionist called me later in the day to offer me to come in and have additional BOTOX free of charge. Who is doing that after such a horrible experience? Would anyone trust going back in after that type of experience? Only if one could dissolve a filler or correct the BOTOX? No.This treatment was not a side effect that would be covered for by signing a consent prior a treatment, this was BOTCHED treatment administered by an injector who lacks the experience and knowledge in my opinion. Being a Dr. really means nothing for injections, unless you are a plastic surgeon; it is a short term certification program that can also be done by an RN, PA or NP. What is the most important however, is whomever is doing the injections has a comprehensive understanding the customers goals, extensive knowledge and expertise of assessing facial structure and what should be used to enhance or address the customers concern and a track record of positive outcomes achieved. My experience was not this at all. This is established who puts their goals first, revenue generation, selling really hard their monthly packages, it was presented to me (4) times during my treatment that was completed in about 1.5 hours. Do not let a nice office setting fool you; find a trusted injector that perhaps has less overhead with a high end looking office, and instead, has high end injectors. This review is based on my experience and opinion. I will happily go back to OC and LA after this.I am sure the doctor will respond to this as she has to manage her social media, but again the response will not be for my benefit.
Dr. Theodore Benderev - The Vasectomy Doctor
341 Magnolia Ave STE 206, Corona, CA 92879, United States
I got a vasectomy from Dr. Benderev and I didn't expect that the two words I'd be using to describe the experience would be “pleasant” and “painless.” It was the best experience considering the level of anxiety I had coming into it. I'll be recommending Dr. Benderev to all my friends (who need a vasectomy)! Before the big day, you do have a pre-consult with Dr. Benderev via video conference. Then you schedule a day for the procedure (all online), handle paperwork and are provided informational docs all online (super easy), and Jasmine was fantastic during this whole process.Coming into the office on the big day, once you check in at the front desk, they give you some extra strength Tylenol and some water. Then Dr. Benderev himself comes out to the waiting room and greets you before escorting you to the exam room. No hospital gown or anything. I was just instructed to take off my jacket and take out anything from my pockets, then I pulled my pants down to my knees and just sat in the operating chair. Then Dr. Benderev puts a heating pad on my area and, if I'm not wrong, it seemed the temperature in room was moderately warm and not cold. Btw, Dr. Benderev doesn't use an assistant. It's just you and him and that reduces a lot of the anxiety. Then Dr. Benderev is super calm and talks you through the whole process and chats with you. He first cleans the area and then applies local anesthetics using this tool that shoots out anesthetics at a high pressure into the area. NO NEEDLES involved. It just felt like someone was lightly flicking you down there. It wasn't painful at all. From then, you really don't feel anything. It was weird knowing that stuff was going on down there but it felt like you were just sitting there having a chat.Anyway, before you know it, the procedure is over. Dr. Benderev uses a no scalpel method so the procedure is minimally invasive and has very low risk of post op complications and has a speedier recovery time (no stitches involved). And he's just so experienced doing this having done it tens of thousands of times, he does it so quickly. Then after the procedure, Jasmine walks you through post op care and instructions. Dr. Benderev even came out while I was with Jasmine and spoke to my wife in the waiting room to let her know it went well and to see if she had any questions. And then on the way home, Dr. Benderev calls you on his personal cell phone to check up on you. I don't know what other doctor gives you his personal number!Anyway, I'm now on day 2 of recovery and I haven't felt any pain whatsoever. I'm just laying around with my feet up and a pack of frozen peas on the area. There is just a very mild and dull soreness you feel, but it doesn't hurt. I've felt 10x more muscle soreness just after a good workout (if that helps gauge how little soreness you actually feel after the procedure).I'm so glad I did the procedure even though I came in nervous. I would recommend this (and Dr. Benderev) to any couple looking for more permanent birth control instead of having your partner go though tubal ligation, which is much more invasive, expensive and risky. Plus, nothing changes for the man really outside of having no sperm. Everything else functions (and comes out) exactly the way it did prior the procedure, but now as a couple you have more peace of mind :)

I had an appointment for an ultrasound. The office told me to fast. Why do you need to fast for an ultrasound on your hip? You dont. After fasting during the day I was called about an hour and 20 min before my appointment and was told I DIDNT need to fast. Then I was told they were running behind by about 20-30. I was told to show up at my appointment time anyway. Then an hour later they figured out they skipped me and forgot to call my name for my appointment. The 3 workers at the front desk conferred among themselves instead of communicating to me. No one explained to me the error, I had to figure it out from them whispering to each other. Every person who showed up in the office after me with an appointment later than mine was seen before I was. Horrible communication and no professionalism. I hope theyre able to read my ultrasound results correctly.
