Club Tan Tanning Salon
3924 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804, United States
So I just got inspired to start tanning and after sitting in the backyard with very little results I figured there had to be a better way to get this done and I started researching tanning salons in Long Beach. I cant remember the last time that I was actually in a tanning salon my guess would be the late 80s or early 90s and what I remember from that experience was that is very expensive. After researching club tan I was able to find out that the prices were good and there is a lot of good reviews about the establishment and the owner whos name is Freddy. I popped on down there and told him that I was a newbie and what I was looking to do and he hooked me up with the discounted monthly package. Hey mixed some of his free sample lotions and explained the basics of what they do and I headed to room one and lotion-ed myself up and hopped into the tanning bed. I did not lie in one spot because I want to mix it up so I spend half the time on my back and half on my stomach. My arms and bald head are tan from just being out in the sun and stuff all the time but my unexposed areas (basically the rest of my body) where pretty white. Freddy recommended that I hop in there for 8 minutes vs the full 11 minutes and that should get me a little pink but not burned. I hopped out and was satisfied with my pink looking skin and told Freddy that he nailed it. I told him I wanted to come back the next day and go for another session and he said I should be able to do it but if I wanted to skip it that would be ok as well. I did end up going back in on Saturday for another 8 minutes and then took Sunday off because he is closed Sundays. On Monday I came back and did it again but this time I ramped it up to the full 11 minutes. I took a break on Tuesday and came back in on Wednesday and after my fourth session I noticed that I was no longer pink and I was actually getting a nice tan base coat.Im about a week and a half into my four week tanning package and I couldnt be happier. The prices are great and Freddy is really cool. The beds are clean and he has that place running like a top. If you ask, Freddy will talk your ears off about tanning. He is a self proclaimed chatty person but he is engaged in the conversation so if you need to move on down the road he will pick up on that long before you have to excuse yourself. Most chatty people do not possess this skill and that includes myself LOL! If you just want to come in and tan and get out all you have to do is say hi, sign in and Freddy will show you to a bed. This is kind of close to downtown Long Beach and parking is always a problem in downtown. That is not the case here at Club Tan. There are parking spots out in front of the salon and there is a side street that also has parking. I have not had a problem yet and I have always had 3 places to park which is fabulous. The days of me laying out in the sun waiting for a tan to happen are over. I pop in here for 11 minutes and it is a 10 minute drive so I can get down there and back in a half hour which is a great use of my time.

Craigs PC Repair
1901 N Cloud Crest Cir, Anaheim, CA 92807, United States
8/19/2019Craig and I have enjoyed a great relationship over the years. Im usually able to handle most PC builds, upgrades and adaptations myself without incident but then I ran into a real bind with my old machine listed below in the 8/4/2017 post.Since the time of that post and Craigs great service and help, I always seek his council when Im doing something high-tech in the PC realm. With that in mind, I reached out to him in May of this year to help me determine the best new PC build for my needs. As usual, Craig was excellent understanding my goal and what I was going to build . He asked great questions and gave me a great sense of confidence in my new PC build plans.Craig laid out careful instructions and steps to take in the process and I followed them to the letter (as it had been a while since I had built a new rig!) and everything came out to perfection!! I have a great new rig that will last me for years:ThermalTake R71 eATX caseInterl I9-9900 CPU64GB RAM (Corsair Vengence)8GB video card (Radeon 590X)Gigabyte Motherboard (Designare z390)Dual M.2 NVMe drives (Samsung)Corsair CPU Water Cooler (Hi100) Dual 240mm fans with sealed radiator)The machine ROCKS! Craig was exemplary in moving my programs over from the old Windows 7 system to the new Windows 10 system. It saved me a lot of time and met all my expectations. Once again, Craig was instrumental in my upgrade to my new platform. Thanks again Craig! Amazing Job! A+(see pictures below) :-)***8/4/2017****I had what I thought was a simple problem with my PC during the boot process that turned into a nightmare that I could not solve. In frustration, I researched Craigs shop and brought my PC in for a thorough examination. I instantly felt comfortable speaking with Craig and got a very comfortable sense of his knowledge, skills and capabilities. He assessed the problem quickly and was straight up with me about cost, time and possible outcomes. He was clear, concise and left me with a feeling of confidence I had come to the right place--I really need my computer to work right now! Four hours later he had my machine up and running--Much to my relief! My PC is nine years old and Im not in a position to have to buy a new one so this was a huge relief to me (and my wallet). To restore my PC-life the fee was well worth the price.Craig also to the time to do quality control work--cleaning the PC, replacing a cable that had gone bad and demonstrating to me the best options for my video monitor. My machine is now faster and more reliable than before. I was treated honestly, with great service and quality.Moving forward, any computer related work or questions I have will be directed at Craig--whom I trust and has my trust and respect. I recommend this shop for anyone that who needs to fix, upgrade or buy a computer. Thanks Craig!

What a pleasant and lovely crew to work with! Starting with Jerrick, who owns the shop. He is very friendly, professional, and was super flexible with scheduling meetings all throughout the process. He takes great pride in his work and the work of his contract photographers. He is also very knowledgeable about the business and knows many other vendors and gives great recommendations. My husband loved the fact that our first meeting was in his office, where we were able to get to know each other a little better, ask our questions and look through sample photo books. Even though he doesnt shoot every wedding, the style and feel of all the photos that we were shown are 100% consistent with his style of photography, which is great to know! We were even given a little Thank You gift for our time, which was very sweet! So our wedding was not shot by Jerrick himself, but by Valor and Alex, along with a videographer team lead by Emma. Jerrick organized for us to meet with both Valor and Emma a couple weeks before the wedding, since they would be there on our wedding day. This put our minds at ease and helped us get to know their personalities a little better. Very sweet people! We were completely satisfied. I also appreciated the fact that Jerrick has all his couples put together a schedule for the day, so that we can ensure we have enough time for all the pictures we want. This was brilliant. He was able to read it and revise it, based on realist goals! Our wedding was on Memorial Day weekend, on Friday May 27th in West Hollywood and everyone arrived on time! If not earlier. And even though I was running a little behind on makeup, they were able to just improvise on the schedule and shoot other things (like the detail shots) in the meantime. Since we were getting ready at the W Hotel, Valor took some time to scope out the scene to make sure what places would be great for shots, as well as make sure the staircase where we would have our First Look was in good shape. Emma and Valor were able to corral the group for group pictures, and even though we were kicked out halfway through, we were able to get some awesome pictures from the hotel! (Word of advice here-make sure you let the hotel staff know you want to take wedding pictures prior to, or else you wont be able to take pictures! But beware-It may cost you! In our case, the W charges you $800 just to be able to take pictures, which is ridiculous, and which is why we decided to just wing it and make the best of it :)The rest of the day went by in a beautiful blur, but Valor and the crew did an amazing job. We just got our wedding pictures back and we are thrilled with how they turned out! We could not have asked for anything better. A BIG Thank You to Three16Photography for capturing our big day and making it fabulous!!
Incredicoaster
1313 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802, United States
Incredicoaster is a fabulous coaster combining a story featuring the Incredibles characters with lights in the various tunnels and of course a loop.Lightning lane is the way to go with this one since it is very popular and saves you time. Yes there is a backstory to the ride but since Im not that familiar with the movie I just ride for the fun. Your coaster starts out with a propelled straight lunch into the ascending tunnel full of lights. You also shoot through a pool of water but dont really get wet. The ride comes with themed music from the movie as well. As you do sidewinders you end up in more tunnels showing what I would imagine is the rescue of the baby but it is so fast you cant keep up with it.You then hit the dreaded loop but it goes so quickly youre then into another part of the twists. The ride ends with a view of some of the characters though glass signifying a happy ending. One of the things I do like about this metal coaster is that you are not thrashed from side to side and banging your ears against it. I hate when metal coasters do that which is another reason why I prefer the wooden coasters. This is a fun filled thrill ride and since it is in the amusement section of CA Adventure it would not be complete to not have a coaster here. From the hotel where we were staying we had a good view of this coaster both at day and at night. If you love coasters then this is one you cannot miss
Sense Financial Services LLC
155 N Riverview Dr #100, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States
Im a pretty independent operator, running my own business, making my own investment decisions, and am the type who wants to run most things himself. As with any venture, the key to success is knowledge. I know my own financial goals, but to get where I want to be, I need to build a solid team of advisors. This is where Dmitriy from Sense Financial comes into focus. I have a great CPA (check out Keystone CPA) who has proved herself many times by offering tax planning advice to help my business. When I told her I was looking for a referral to a firm who could help me establish my own Trust where I could invest in real estate within my solo 401k, she pointed me in Dmitriys direction.Sense Financial does exactly what Im looking for in a good advisor: provide knowledge and guidance in areas of their expertise. Ive been able to ping Dmitriy himself--the founder of the company--on questions, and he always provides prompt and detailed responses. Other people at Sense Financial have worked with me to establish the right trust, to ensure Ive filled out paperwork properly, and are always available to help answer a question.Im glad to have been directed to Sense Financial and now have them as part of my set of key business advisors that help guide me on the path to financial success.
COASTherapy Anaheim
6200 E Canyon Rim Rd STE 113-E, Anaheim, CA 92807, United States
I go to Coast therapy in Anaheim for physical therapy for my left knee. The facility is clean, modern, and well spaced out. Front desk and the aids are very helpful and friendly. I've had the pleasure of being helped by Gabriel, Andrew, Richard, Juliana, and Shay as aids all of them are great. Diana at the front desk is wonderful at helping me schedule appointments and coordinating doctors, insurance and all that nonsense. And can't forget about my therapist Ruchi Patel who is AMAZING. She really learns the patient and determines what exercises are best for their situation. Her hands on work is very helpful and gentle. When Ruchi is unavailable I've had Teri and she is equally as awesome but watch out her hands on work was ticklish ;). She is very well knowledged in her field and has a great sense of humor. Overall Coast therapy is a 5 star kind of place and I highly recommend to anybody needing sports rehabilitation after an injury.
Lincoln Pawn Shop
2673 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801, United States
I have been going to Lincoln pawn shop for quite some time now, and during this covid crazy time, I have had to visit but yet once again! Some times finances aren't so great and I take the only one item that is of some value and borrow some cash untill payday! course you have to pay back a little extra, but to me it's so much better than having my lights turned off or running out of gas or being hungry! I only have a few things of any value and my earnings are one of them and my mom always said that as long as you own a diamond you will never go hungry and that is so the truth! When I went to the pawn shop I already felt like a failure and sort of an embarrassment to myself to be at my age and have to borrow money from a pawn shop with my jewelery but these guys never once made me feel anything less than a reglar customer doing business like everyone else! And I go in there quite often and they have such great customer service skills all the time! In fact I was just there today and they told me that I didn't even need to show my identification cards because they already know me that well!!!!! I will always return to Lincoln Pawn Shop. Even with a phone call they let you come in a little late but they always work with you! So thank you to the staff at Lincoln pawn you guys are so great at what you do and as always I am a happy customer!
RNR Group Collision
1120 N Cosby Way, Anaheim, CA 92806, United States
Car 2014 BMW 6 series ConvertableDamage: Passenger side rear view mirror totaled(Heated, lane departure & camera)Went to RNR Group collision (along with several other local competitors), for an estimate. I showed up unannounced without an appointment and was taken care of by Randy & Larry immediately. The damage was assessed and quote given.I was given a brief tour of the facility and learned this shop does EVERYTHING (paint, body repair plus various auto, motorcycle and R/C part fabrications). After seeing the work quality spread out over several adjoining garages, I knew this facility had already earned my business. Then the price quote came: I had gotten 6 estimates on this day. RNR Group Collision's quote was 28% LOWER than the next competitor. Wow, I was amazed.I selected RNR Group Collision and am 100% satisfied. The work was amazing, the paint match was suburb and the professionalism was top notch. In addition, the repairs were completed faster than I even requested.I highly recommend this business to anyone reading my review! They out-performed in every area I can think of.Thumbs up and I'm glad I found them …
Planet Beauty
5655 E La Palma Ave #120, Anaheim, CA 92807, United States
Let me just say this has been my favorite beauty store for the last two years. My Sephora status has been reduced since I spend so much time here. The staff is very friendly, informed on their products and always willing to help. Every time you enter the store you are greeted and always assure you that they are more than Willing to help with whatever question you have. Although, the range of products is selective, I have found that almost everything they carry is of quality and meets my needs. I don't think these ladies have failed me once yet! They also host a quarterly beauty class which is a lot of fun. The staff at this store is what makes it A+
The Glass Warehouse Smoke Shop
430 S State College Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92806, United States
I normally go to this place out of convenience, they are a bit over priced but do carry a wide veriety of items in their inventory. Unfortunately, this time going to the store I experianced side comments comming from a bistandard employee(Violets the name on the receipt) about the item I was buying. She was quick to step in to the conversation with the sales person that was helping me. She points out that the item i was buying ruins peoples lives, and quickly lost perspective on her career choice. If you dont enjoy being a sales person at a glass shop[and dealing with items these shops sell] then dont work there. If it wasnt for the service ive previously recieved from other employees, and the glass selection, this place would get 1 star.
