La Jolla Med Spa and Hair Transplant Andrew F. ...
7514 Girard Ave Suite 7, San Diego, CA 92037, United States
I have received treatment at Laser Away prior to coming here to see Dr. Andrew, and this office is by far the most thorough, informative safe and effective way to get your treatments done. Dr. Andrew is so passionate and respectful, making sure you're comfortable and fully informed. Unlike other locations, the actual doctor is the one who is face to face with you providing the treatment. Office and Dr are overall family vibes, comfortable and easy. I would recommend this location to anyone! Saw some reviews stating clients were upset about putting down a card to hold their spot. If you show up to your made appointment, the holding card will not be charged. It's in place to protect the business just like any other appointment would be to ensure the provider is not losing out on double spots by having a no-show. Keep your appointment or let the office know if you can't, this is something we should all be practicing with any reservations for any organization. :) 10/10 review.

Blossom Organic Skin Care, Sugaring & Facial Spa
2946 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA 92116, United States
I have been going to Blossom Organic Skin Care for the past year. Karlin has been my main esthetician and has been providing monthly facials since I became a member. Karlin is extremely attentive and gentle with her facials. She provides me with a wealth of knowledge each time I go; not just about skin care, but about healthy changes to my diet/lifestyle that would help my skin. Karlin goes above and beyond and follows-up with emails/texts to ask me how my skin is doing. She also contacts me via phone for consults and develops different skin routines if my skin is not reacting well to one.I have very sensitive skin (dermatitis/acne) and to be honest, I was very nervous the first time I went to Blossom. I looked in the mirror immediately after the facial and my face was very moisturized and was not irritated AT ALL. I highly recommend the very educated and invested estheticians at Blossom Skin Care. Not only do they provide a great one (or more) hour facial. they invest in you as a person and really want to help you and your skin!

Brazilia Skin Care & Spa Little Italy

Overall my experience was good, the woman were all attentive and nice. At first look my eyebrows looked good, always hard to tell right when they are done since they are a bit red and inflamed. After I got back to my hotel and I had sat with them all day they were very thick and bushy similar to the trends of brows these days. I like a thinner brow which I mentioned in my appt, if she took off one more small line of hair it would have been perfect but instead I plucked them to thin shape I like. Was a bummer to spend money and not be 100% satisfied. Also my skin is so dry and the under portion of my brows are all red, patchy/sensitive to the touch which has never happened at any other brow place Ive visited. I was only in town visiting but would try somewhere else next time

Mariyas Skin Care
3890 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122, United States
I have been going to Mariya to have my eyebrows threaded for the past year. The overall threading experience at Mariyas is the best I have encountered. Classical music is played as you lie down and relax with a blanket and eyemask on. Mariya is very professional and committed to creating the best shape for your eyebrows. Once the threading is completed, she fills in your eyebrows (a nice treat!).

Belladerma Cosmetic Surgery & Skin Care Center
4520 Executive Dr #105, San Diego, CA 92122, United States
I absolutely love and trust Belladerma. So far I have had a surgery (Dr Moz is so talented) and some procedures. Hilary is great! She is so gentle with her Injections and they are on point! I worked in medicine for 16 years and am very picky when it comes to nurses and doctors. Hilary takes her time to make sure she gives you exactly what you want. She doesn't just poke you in the same place as the last women and call it a day. I am treated so well and she is so kind. I'm definitely a fan and will continue to go to her for any injections. My review From Feb 2020I needed a septoplasty to fix my broken nose and help me breathe better. I found Dr Moz (through a friend who used to work at the office) and went in for a consultation. First I must say that I am very picky about my doctors and nurses because I have worked in the medical field for years. Dr Moz is extremely professional, kind, has great bedside manner and is very talented and meticulous. I went ahead and had surgery with him. He explained everything so well and always made sure I didnt have any questions. He spent as much time as I needed and never was rushed. His nurse Tyja is also equally amazing. She is comforting, sweet but also very professional and great at her job. There was no doubt in my mind that I picked the right Dr. My results are amazing so far and greatly exceed my expectations. I ended up having him do a bit of cosmetic work since he was already operating there. I cant stop staring at my adorable nose. I can now breathe so well and am not struggling to get oxygen, getting dizzy or lightheaded. Its always a bit scary doing any surgery on your face but for some reason I felt so comfortable with this team. Patty who does a lot of the office paperwork, and scheduling was also great. Thank you so much Dr Moz, Patty, and sweet Tyja. The cherry on top is that they are so much fun and all have great personalities. I will be recommending Dr Moz to anyone who needs surgery.

San Diego Top Skin Care

Kiana is the best and most talented esthetician I have ever met.Ive been to quite a few different spas, and I have to be honest... I cant compare my experiences there with this one in even the slightest. I absolutely went into total relaxation mode and even drifted into sleep for a bit. The products used are of the highest quality and natural based. The equipment is so clean and nice and the environment is so soothing.I ended up getting a pumpkin peel as well as microdermabrasion. Kiana was super helpful and so considerate when she recommended the treatments that would be best appropriate for me. She made me feel really comfortable and confident in everything. I really really enjoyed the face massage and essential oils on the hot towels. I could feel my face being reborn as the treatment progressed. When I was all done I was astonished when I felt and looked at my skin. Incredible! My skin felt like a rose petal and even smelled like roses too. My complexion had dramatically improved and I simply felt so grateful that I decided to get this done. I was so happy to find out I can go back and get my eyebrows done or my waxing done with her.I plan on sticking with Kiana for as long as possible. Highly recommend.

San Diego Skin Care By Irene
4907 Morena Blvd #1417, San Diego, CA 92117, United States
Have been going to Irene for my nail care for years, but just had my first dermaplaning/facial with her. So relaxing & just what my face needed. Irene takes her time, is not hard on your face & gives great rubs (hands, arms, head, shoulders). Loved my glowing dewy face after. Will definitely be getting another one of these.

SkinLush Skin Care by Elisha
4286 Voltaire St, San Diego, CA 92107, United States
I have been a client/fan of Elisha's for the past decade. She knows her skin stuff! Her facials are refreshing and relaxing. Her level of care leaves me feeling pampered and loving the results! She also keeps me feeling confident about my skin care routine. I love her membership programs (keeps things affordable) and the seasonal offerings that she has. The range of services is pretty comprehensive as well, I frequently get waxed, she is the only one I let touch my eyebrows. I most recently got an eye lash lift, while I was receiving a facial treatment and I was thrilled with the results.

Paul Mitchell The School San Diego
410 A St, San Diego, CA 92101, United States
To be fair, the 1 star is for the instructor who was so knowledgable and kind. I would actually give 0 stars otherwise.I went in for a chemical relaxer/root touch up and hair cut. After arriving, I decided to add flat iron work and a conditioning treatment to my list of services, which would have totaled about $88-$118, depending on the amount product used. I scheduled with a phase 2 student but the girl who was assigned to my hair had trouble answering basic questions from the instructor (such as Why do we need to know where the client parts her hair?). I was a little uneasy at that point about how something like that was difficult to answer for a phase 2 student but I was wiling to continue because the whole process was significantly cheaper than a Brazilian Keratin Treatment I had been considering and I also do like and use Paul Mitchell products. After the student had been instructed to apply a scalp protectant all over my scalp in small sections, she made this comment:... all this because I raised my hand to doing a relaxer on Tuesday and sounded somewhat annoyed. The other student assisting her, who was working on applying scalp protectant to the other side of my head, then said Lucky for us in a very snide, rude and sarcastic tone. I sat there for about 5 minutes after debating what to do, wanting to give this place a chance because of how great the instructor was but I decided I could not spend my money AND have to tip this person who made me feel like a burden. Also, if this is the attitude the girl had towards learning something new and dealing with textured hair, I didnt want to risk walking out of there with no head of hair while she just mindlessly shrugged her shoulders.I then asked the girls to stop and if I could speak to the instructor and explained to her what happened. She was very understanding and apologetic, and offered to wash out the scalp treatment for me. At that point, I was just ready to get out of there because I was so disappointed.I felt bad saying anything because I didnt want to get anyone in trouble as it could have been just nerves talking but that was totally unacceptable to have that sort of demeanor, attitude and honestly just snottiness towards a customer. (And I previously worked in customer service for YEARS before an office job, so Ive dealt with my fair share)Im a very secure person with who I am and I like myself - whether my hair is freshly done or a little past due for a cut. I truly hope in the future that this girl doesnt pull something like this in front of someone who isnt confident or is insecure about their hair texture or appearance - rude comments and snobby attitudes like that can cause lasting damage. Its hard enough out here to be a female as is and you shouldnt be made to feel worse (by another woman at that!) when youre spending your time and money to better yourself.Truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the instructor (she had a really short hair cut, brown hair, didnt catch her name unfortunately). I hope those two students (who I will not name/embarrass) actually learn from their instructor and take some of that same kindness and professionalism with them before they start working in the real world.

South Coast MedSpa
4520 Executive Dr Ste 325, San Diego, CA 92121, United States
I want to share my experience because I had a great service and unfortunate surprise about 2 days after last laser. I did 6 treatments and a touch up with 3 treatments. After my last procedure I saw the dark moustache lines above my lips. The staff did give me a cream to use, and I am on it now. I learned it was melasma and when I spoke to the nurse in main office, she did tell me it can sometimes occur after laser treatments. When I spoke to staff in San Diego, they said that it will likely go away but can come back. I do have other spots on my face. There are no burns or anything else but now I have an increased sensitivity to sun in that area and even when I apply the sunblock, I can feel the tingling sensation. I've never had this happen before. The hormonal changes can cause the pigments and so can the sun. And I've never before had the spots above my lips. The sad thing is it's only above my lips. But I had laser on my chin too. Maybe the laser treatment increased my sensitivity to the sun even after waiting the required hours. I absolutely regret doing this procedure. It is not a blame on the business about machines or service. The professionals who do this know a lot more than me, and I feel weak and at a disadvantage and think that LHR should be avoided in the summer. I do feel like I should have been discouraged to do this until fall. I understand you have to run a business, and this means more clients. And if you were to advise me, I would have waited until my skin went back my natural color. I enjoyed the experience all the while not knowing this could have potentially permanent damage. I feel self-conscious and now I have to apply concealer every time I leave my house. Absolutely distraught. I will seek advice from a dermatologist as advised and will update my review for progress. I am thankful for the complimentary cream, and I am using it now. I read articles and reached out to professionals. In the end, you may get it and you may not. It's your risk. I risked and it happened to me. In the end I feel damaged physically and emotionally.I am not completely satisfied with appointment correspondence and general communication regarding services. Received an appointment reminder completely on a different day and it threw me off completely, until I reached out to verify. Then I was told I can come to the office before 5pm. I came by and the door was locked. I stood there knocking on the door like an idiot, and calling the office to see if anyone is there. I did not appreciate that the staff told the main office that they were under the impression I wasnt coming. So, they just left without calling or messaging me. Would you like that if this was you? Also, I asked twice to be removed from marketing messages. Second time I was told I need to respond remove in order to accommodate my request. The first request should be enough to comply. I do not need to make special replies for you to simply respect my wishes to remove me from marketing messages. For this reason, I am changing my review. It is very insensitive to keep offering me LHR services considering what I went through.
