I took my 17 year old in to have her hair cut was very displeased with the service the hairdresser seem to be annoyed that she was at work.When you walk in .... There is a Sign in sheet... you add your name and choose the services youd like to receive. I chose the haircut and a shampoo.... however much to my surprise....the hairdresser was not pleased at all that I wanted My daughters hair washed before it was cut. She proceeded to forewarn me that it was an additional charge ( This was also noted...in bold and highlighted) So I told her I was aware and that It was fine. Then she had the audacity to roll her eyes and sigh quite LOUD!!MY response....trying to understand why she was so upset...I smiled and said.... has it been a busy day? Even though my daughter and I were the only 2 Customers in the salon.She quickly responded No...not at allThis is the first AND LAST TIME I will spend my money there!

I was going through a hard time. My hair fell out. (Doctor feels it wont, so I went and bought a human hair wig. I brought it back to my amazing hairdresser, Yvette. She cut and shaped the wig. She went through all the tricks you need to know about wigs. The process was amazing. She helped me to feel better about myself!!!!

Ulta s are good stores for buying cosmetics and hair products. This one was as good as most of them, although they had several out of stocks. I deducted stars for the sales associate I dealt with in this store. I walked up to her, doing nothing, but chatting with another employee and showed her a powdered, matt, pale pink, eyeshadow that I was searching for a replacement for. I said can you tell me if you have any similar POWDER EYESHADOWS THAT ARE MATTE AND A NEUTRAL PINK TONE?She reached directly in front of her and pulled off of a peg a trio set of CREAM CREAM, BROWN, FROSTED EYE CRAYONS and said take a seat and Ill set you up.I dont know that I have ever had a salesperson missed the mark on every single point that I expressed I was looking for, especially when I was holding what I wanted in my hand in front of her as an example. Needless to say, I can continue to my search alone throughout the store and wondered how someone who listens so poorly could be in customer sales?! I left feeling like it was only about trying to pitch me anything and everything and make a sale.Im happy to say Ive had better experiences with other ULTA sales associates, so I wont hold it against the store, but I wont go back to this one probably.

So I came here a couple months ago, I asked for a simple trim and a touch up on my layers. The lady's name that cut my hair was Karla, I was under the impression that my hair was going to be cut by Jen as I had asked for her. Right when we first started I let her know that I have naturally curly hair and I had straightened it the day before, I also informed her that I had not brushed my hair that day and I meant to because my hair type tangles within seconds. The moment she started coming my hair with a thin tooth comb from top to bottom I should not have let her cut my hair. Hair 101, brush or comb from bottom to top no matter the hair type. I could see my boyfriend behind me looking at that suspiciously. I still didn't say anything and let her do her thing. She's very lucky that I'm not tender headed, she was combing out a lot of my hair. After combing my hair she asked me what we were doing with it, telling me she had not even looked at my appointment file. I'm not going to go into detail with the cut... but this woman cut the shortest layer above my ears and my longest layers were to my mid back. I had worked for years to get my hair that long. I loved my long hair. She made it look like my hair got chopped with a butcher knife at a butcher shop. Everything was uneven and It looked like I had a longer mullet. I had this haircut for maybe 2 weeks, after that I realized that I would continue doing my own hair like I have been for the last couple years not letting anyone else touch it. I even fed up having to cut my hair shoulder length for my hair to look okay. I miss my long hair more than everything. I do not recommend going here for a simple hair cut.

Very kind and professionalI went in with no idea of what I wanted and when I got there I waited about 2 minutes while she finished another client but the wait was pleasant, it was music playing it was not loud and it was very comfortable. She began my hair and from the start I knew that this was gonna be an amazing transformation just by how she spoke to me just fine the experience and the pictures that Ive seen I could tell the way that she was talking to me she knew what she was doing and I was all for it At that point I told her go for it do you do what you want to my hair and she told me well Tell me what you want and Ill do it whatever it is and I was like for real OK so I put out my phone and went to Google I showed her about 6 or 7 different hairstyles and still did not confuse her she still knew what direction I was hitting so when she started my hair I was like d*** I know Im gonna look so good. However I just wanted you guys to know my experience it was amazing my hair is amazing it feels good Im a chef so I dont like hair on my shoulders and I was afraid that if I get short hair I would look like a boy but I dont I look like a beautiful young lady and I feel so pretty and I want to thank you miss Evette for working with me and taking your time and even making the changes that I requested after the fact I really appreciate you you are a winner Thank you again and I wish you guys the best I will be seeing you regularly now.

I have also started seeing Danielle for waxing services and cant brag enough on the level of professionalism and results. Meraluma sets the standard for beauty services in Redding.Chelsea is the best Microblade artist in town! I am so in love with my brows. Ill never go anywhere else. The office is comfortable and beautiful, the experience is painless and Chelsea breaks down the process and aftercare so you know what to expect every step of the way. If you have ever been frustrated with your brows or curious about microblading this is the place to go! And Tanning! Meaggan is a fantastic sunless tan expert, I was in and out and beautifully tanned in a jiffy. My teenage nephews even commented Im not sure whats different but you look really pretty, did you get your hair done or something?, no kid Im just glowing! I cant see enough good things about Meraluma and their services.

Cristina is great!As is understandable, I was pretty nervous about permanent make up, but after doing some research I reached out to Cristina. Her shop is very clean and super cute! She is a great communicator, makes sure youre comfortable and happy each step of the way, and thoroughly explains the process as it goes along. One of the best parts (other than the outcome of the work!) is that it didnt hurt!Ive had an initial appointment with her, a touch up, and another procedure done with her...each visit has been a fantastic experience with self esteem boosting results. Definitely recommend, and Ill be back!
