Comment: Good hair cut but very painful fade the short Latina girl with glasses cut my hair today and all was well until the fade! her machine was scratching and cutting the back of my neck and it’s been all day hurting and turns out my brother in law had a hair cut today with the same girl and the same thing happened to him I wasn’t going to say anything in person but at this point it still hurts please get a new machine!

Comment: We are super loyal customers to this salon. We love it for the most part.but yesterday we came in for a simple haircut for my daughter. The girl that cut her hair stated that shes okat cutting hair but never that good. At least she doesnt lie...my daughters hair is so chopped up. Her bangs are crooked and she didnt even it out. She also cut two inches off that we didnt ask for. I am extremely disappointed and will now not take just anyone as a stylist. We will be requesting just one that never screws up our hair. My daughter also said they were talking not good about customers and this haircut took an hour.

Comment: Edit: it’s been about a month and I still get nonstop compliments for my hair! I’m at the front desk all the time at the gym and always get noticed for my hair. Someone asked where I got it done and I recommended the two lovely ladies who worked on my hair!Third time was the charm for this place. Have been in before and those past couple times weren’t the best experience. Made an appointment and got my haircut by Kendi and colored by Jennifer. Kendi is quiet but sweet :) Jennifer wasn’t planned to do my hair that day but she squeezed me in anyways and she did awesome. She’s very considerate and asked many questions and talked me through it all to make sure it was done to my liking. I’ve been getting compliments all week at work! I highly recommend those two lovely ladies for anyone who comes in there. Will be back for a touch up!

Comment: So I came here a couple months ago, I asked for a simple trim and a touch up on my layers. The lady’s name that cut my hair was Karla, I was under the impression that my hair was going to be cut by Jen as I had asked for her. Right when we first started I let her know that I have naturally curly hair and I had straightened it the day before, I also informed her that I had not brushed my hair that day and I meant to because my hair type tangles within seconds. The moment she started coming my hair with a thin tooth comb from top to bottom I should not have let her cut my hair. Hair 101, brush or comb from bottom to top no matter the hair type. I could see my boyfriend behind me looking at that suspiciously. I still didn’t say anything and let her do her thing. She’s very lucky that I’m not tender headed, she was combing out a lot of my hair. After combing my hair she asked me what we were doing with it, telling me she had not even looked at my appointment file. I’m not going to go into detail with the cut... but this woman cut the shortest layer above my ears and my longest layers were to my mid back. I had worked for years to get my hair that long. I loved my long hair. She made it look like my hair got chopped with a butcher knife at a butcher shop. Everything was uneven and It looked like I had a longer mullet. I had this haircut for maybe 2 weeks, after that I realized that I would continue doing my own hair like I have been for the last couple years not letting anyone else touch it. I even fed up having to cut my hair shoulder length for my hair to look okay. I miss my long hair more than everything. I do not recommend going here for a simple hair cut.

Comment: Bobbi fixed my hair from a very bad hair experience where they had my hair way to dark for my fair skin. It was suppose to have dark contrast with very light highlights . Instead of adding more highlights they did a bleach wash causing my hair to be way to light with a ton of red in my hair! I was horrified. I took pictures of how the color I had in my hair for many years and showed Bobbi and she gave me exactly what I originally had asked for at the previous salon along with showing them the same pictures I had shown Bobbi. I recently moved back to Tehama County and had no clue anymore on who was good with color. I have now found my go to hair salon and Bobbi is EXCELLENT!.

When I arrived you could tell the person who i was scheduled with had barely begun a cut even tho it was during the time i had scheduled. It felt like they take longer on purpose to make you just want to go away.

Comment: They honestly dont even deserve a star. My mom went to get some highlights in her hair, something simple. She showed the girl cutting her hair what she wanted and the girl said ok, no problem I can do that. My mom became suspicious when a person standing next to her asked the girl what she was doing to her hair. She answered with a rainbow and laughed. To my moms disappointment and THIS REVIEW as well, once her hair was blow-dried she noticed something had went COMPLETELY WRONG. My moms hair was literally YELLOW. We dont know what that girl was thinking! All in all, she had to paint my moms hair AGAIN because it was so AWFUL, which damaged her hair insanely. In the end, the brown that was supposed to cover up the yellow made her hair a burnt ORANGE. We will NEVER be going back to Walmart Hair Salon. If you still make the choice to go even after this review, watch whom ever is styling your hair VERY CLOSELY, and if something doesnt seem right, ASK THEM WHAT THEY ARE DOING....

Comment: I left in a bad mood after my hair appointment. I came in for an all over color; the color was correct but the service wasnt good. There were globs of color down my neck, ears, forhead etc. She didnt even do anything until I pointed it out, but it had stayed on so long that it already oxidized. Eventually I had to keep scrubbing it at the salon, and still it wouldnt come off. After the shampooing comes the style, but she just threw a little gel in that made my hair feel like garbage and gave a little blow dry. No style. Nothing. Dripping wet frizzy hair. My hair is to my chin but I paid extra because its thick, I dont mind, but with the extra money, I expected a little extra care... I left disappointed...

Comment: They are great ! I now have a stylist I intend to request everytime for both my sons hair . I also find the staff far friendlier and more professional than the old place I went to . You can tell they genuinely enjoy their job and the conversations arent forced which is very nice. The most important part for me they work well with kids and really want to make you happy and make an effort I strongly recommend this place .
