Terrible service. Went in for a mens haircut and lady was very unprofessional talking on the phone while cutting my hair, didnt provide a mirror for me to check if i liked the result, didnt say thank you after paying for the haircut, didnt remove the cover from me properly so hair wouldnt fall on me.The haircut was annoying because there was a lot of wind coming in from the back door directly to my face making all the loose hair itch me while drying up my eyes. After the haircut she didnt remove loose hair properly (used a dry rough towel) and didnt use powder.I asked for a taper and the fade had a noticeable difference in size so the fade wasnt faded properly.Very unsatisfied, will not return.

I really enjoyed my visit here. All the ladies were really nice and friendly. I wish I knew the name of the lady who cut my hair.. but she did an amazing job!!! I told her what I wanted (since I hadn't cut my hair for over 2 years) she listened and gave me her input and my hair turned out great! I still need a lot of work to get my hair into a healthy state but this cut was the beginning and I love it!!! They are also pretty funny ladies and their guest seem to be usuals and family like. I would def recommend
Crystal Beauty Salon
4304 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90022, United States
I thought I had reviewed this several years ago, but I couldn't find my review. Then I finally realized, there are no less than 3 Cristal Hair Salons all on Cesar Chavez, so I must have posted my review under the wrong salon. This one is 4304 E Cesar E Chavez and the stylist's/owner's name is Beti. So weird. The other one has an owner with a similar name (Leti), but this one is run by BETI not Leti. I've been coming here for almost 20 years. Believe me, if Beti didn't do a great job, I wouldn't be coming here for 20 years. And she is the nicest person you could ever meet. She used to take walk-ins but it got too busy for her. So please call ahead. You might get lucky and catch her on a slow day, but I would call ahead if I were you.

The ladies in my family and I have visited this salon, more specifically Roza for over 15 years. She and the staff have clients that commute from all over LA county to have their hair cut and styled. Roza was trained at the highest degree and has won many awards for her work. We completely trust her even if we are taking photos days afterwards! The salon offers haircuts (women and men), color, highlights, hairstyles for events, eyebrow threading and exceptional service!

I want to start by saying that I love the service in this place from Mrs. Susana, she always has an excellent attitude, very patient and always does things exactly as I have asked. She has never tried to overcharge me or change me the price from one moment to the next, being very constant in its service and prices. I am very grateful for the excellent work of Mrs. Susana for more than 8 years that I have been going to this salon. I recommend Ofelia salon and the professional work of Mrs. Susana 100%. Thank you very much for your services to the community.

Absolutely rude! No one at the front to answer questions. Its a bunch of independent offices of people who do hair or nails but operate without a uniform scheduling service. Just wanted to know if someone in there did nails...one woman was nice enough to show me her office. Never have I ever been treated so rudely for merely inquiring about making an appointment with someone. Dont waste your time there are plenty of nice spas and salons in this area.
Look Majico Beauty Salon

This place is the worst, these people are of no use, be very careful, think 3 times before going, for polite men they may be good but for dyes and haircuts for women, NOT anything else they charge too much money for a dye $150.00 I did not recommend this one for free or even for free place. There is one that maybe makes a good tint is Jesenia but very expensive and very expensive.

I've never had such a wonderful experience from start to finish at a salon. Especially as a walk in.I was greeted by the smile of Rita immediately. She was so helpful and kind as a walk in. I originally wanted to see if they had anyone for a pedicure, just curious, as we knew it was probably too late, and it was. However, my husband wanted me to ask about getting my hair done as a valentines present from him.So, I told her that it was basically a difficult job as I had a friend and I try to dye it pink and messed it up - so knew I was going to see a large quote. She showed me the menu and calculated my estimate. She told me to come tomorrow in the afternoon at any time so I can talk to Polina, the owner and the woman who would be taking care of me. That all sounded great to us, so we went home a few blocks away. The next day I was greeted again by the very sweet Rita. She introduced me to Polina and Victoria and as I told them about the calamity that was my hair, all three women were confident that they could fix it up and I immediately felt like I was in great hands. They got to work fast. And I mean I felt like a queen! The salon had a lovely little open bar and of course this is the perfect time to order a champagne! As the blue aching time passed, it was indeed getting late. But I had the owner, herself, finishing up my hair until the late evening. She and Victoria worked their butts off, I was totally impressed and not used to this level of service in Los Angeles, where as a transplant I had gotten used subpar, lazy and often deceitful service. This salon is none of those things. By the time they were finished with my color my hair was so soft, it smelled amazing, it was hot pink, it had depth. Did I mention it didn't smell like a megaton of chemicals? I didn't even know that was possible. I thought when we got our hair done we went home put our head on our pillow and reeked of chemicals until a couple washings. It was late in the evening with Polina, so we decided to blow it out and have a hair cut the following day. It was a holiday, after all, Polina is running a family business, so her young children were here at work with her and you could hear little bits of their laughter as they played in another room. Very sweet!By the time I came in for the third day, it felt like coming in to see my girlfriends. I said hello to a now blue haired Rita, we compared hair colors, blue and pink, how cool do we look? Then I sat in a comfy chair again while Polina cut away the perfect style for my face shape while I told her my goal of having silver hair, she said: ‘oh I can do that' I had no doubts she could.I really enjoyed my time there. I could go on about how pristine and state of the art the salon was, that it offered every service, that it was impeccably clean and sparkly… but I most enjoyed my experience with each and every person who worked there. They really made the salon feel like it was truly sterling in every way.Thank you guys so much! With love from a new customer,M

Just moved from Philly a few days beforehand, did a Google search for a place to get my touch up relaxer. Had a stable and good stylist back where I came from. Called 10 locations and no appointments were available until the following week. Booked for a touch up relaxer @ $75 with a woman (didn't catch her name) and arrived on time, I thought the price was reasonable compared to the other quotes I received. When I arrived, was told “ring the bell and tell them you have an appointment with Eric” & so I did.Eric was clearly overbooked running back and forth with multiple clients doing his very best. I sat and waited for a full hour, with an appointment. Another lady comes up when I'm at the wash bowl and asks for my name. I told her and she says “I've been waiting for you you're in my book”. Apparently there's some internal drama going on, which is typical and find. What isn't typical and fine is that I as the customer was affected. Eric does a fine job, but then I'm taken to another room where a woman presses my hair out and literally burned my ears 3 times, and my neck twice. I was close to walking out, but was already 3 hours in at this place for a quick touch up relaxer. By the time it was time to pay, I'm told that'll be $125. I said “I'm sorry, but I was given a price of $75 when I booked my appointment and wrote it down. That is what I am prepared to pay.” Eric accepted it because that is what I was told, but man that made me so uncomfortable. If I knew the correct price, I would've probably made an appointment elsewhere and waited for the following week for a place a little closer to my new home. I won't be back here, to say the least.
