Comment: My favorite place to get my nails done because they last and make my nails feel stronger. I have the best nail guy and he used to be an architect, so the detail in his work is amazing. He also shapes my nails flat because when they grow out they actually start to point down, so he buffed my nails out to be even and straight. I’ve had my nails done in the past but no one focused on that detail of work to create an even landscape in my nail shape too as it grows out. Love Evgenii and his work. Excited to see him again soon and keep my nails looking amazing 😊

Comment: There’s a reason it’s always empty in there - and the one good stylist I went to doesn’t work there anymore!I will never come back here. The stylist was using a translator app which I appreciate but I think the barrier in communication meant even though I was asking over and over again for the toner to be re-done so it didn’t look yellow, it wasn’t fully fixed. I ran out of time after being there for hours and agreed I would just try toning with the purple conditioner I have at home, but it wasn’t working. I then tried to come back and have it fixed, as I was up for a shoot and they asked me to have my hair evened out. After a couple weeks, the yellow band was really obvious - but the salon said they had a 7 day policy (I mentioned this to the stylist I used to go to here and she said they made it up) and wouldn’t fix it. I lost the job over this.I went back to them and when they offered me a discount, I asked what the final price would be and they DOUBLED the original price, asking me for MORE than what I paid the first time when I also went in for more services, a bleach/tone AND haircut! I asked them how the math maths… they said they have a right to change their prices. Tell me that’s not a scam?

Comment: I’ve had such a tough time finding a really good hairstylist who can get my hair to a shade of blonde I like without really ruining my hair! I read about this place in the Los Angeles magazine and after having my hair totally fried trying to get an icy blonde, I thought I’d give it a try (esp bc it’s close to my house and Pilates studio). I’m sooooo glad I did because Polina is a total PRO when it comes to blondes!!! She was able to take my completely bleach destroyed hair and restore it back to health while also keeping it that icy shade of blonde I really like! Plus, her salon is gorgeous, she’s so professional, and works quickly and masterfully in everything she does. I really also love that she just lets me work while I’m there getting my hair done so I don’t have to take the day off (working remotely) and isn’t bothered by this as some stylists are. In addition to all of the above - she ALWAYS gets my cut right too! I’ve never had a colorist who also could do a perfect cut! Just so happy I found this place! 😍 I will continue to return over and over - I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Polina and her business! If you are in downtown LA and are looking for a great hairstylist / colorist, def check this place out. It’s not cheap, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and imo it’s worth every penny! I don’t really understand the reviews complaining about price? Compared to many other salons I’ve been to, it’s a very fair price for the quality of what I receive! Trust me, her cut and color and treatments are well worth it.I will never again let anyone else touch my hair. Thank you, Polina! Youre the best! I had to leave and do my own hair in a rush. Very disappointing. I had received multiple texts and emails from Logunova confirming my appointment ahead of time. But despite this - the stylist I was booked with - apparently it was her day off. I don’t understand how a booking error like that happens.

Once we arrived, we experienced a chair massage while having our hair washed, followed by a glass of wine and a cozy blanket as we got our hair styled. Liza was truly incredible! She helped turn a chaotic evening into a relaxing experience and she turned us into movie stars! We were truly ready for our holiday party thanks to her kindness and incredible hairstyling skills! Comment: First time I came, my appointment was not registered despite having paid the deposit and 3 confirmations sent, including my own confirmation of appointment 1 day prior. Worst thing that happened? No one told me about it apologizing for the situation and asking if I’d like to wait. Only after 20 minutes of waiting, I asked how long it would take and only then I was told the truth. Who knows how much more they would make me wait if I did not ask. Today, I waited 23 minutes for my appointment… because the previous client asked for extra service. No one called me to tell me about the delay, no one told the previous client that they don’t have time to do the extras because there was next appointment scheduled. On the top of that, there is some weird discoloration on my base of my nails (see the lines close to cuticles?) which I was told is normal despite having done exactly the same manicure as the last time, with the same product when there was no such discoloration. Last but not least.. you’d think if a business provides a bad service, they’d give you a proper discount to make good. Have they? I got some pathetic 10% off first time and full price today. Sorry, but can’t recommend this place at all and definitely never returning.

Comment: Attempted calls to speak with someone in charge has been very difficult after the 5th time and another unhelpful host/receptionist. Got KNOTTED hair during the wash they had snap/cut off (my hair was cut DRY and was NOT there for a hair cut). Trying to save the stylist that tried CHARGING me $30 for an adhesive eyelash application, tried to stay in contact with me to work under the table for services out of the salon, and told me during consultation they would be able to work on my long hair some dignity. They need to remove my likeness from their social media asap, that is all I am asking at this point. If you see the $60 deposit from scheduling an appointment is NOT applied to your final total make SURE it is. Contacting the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology is something you should consider if you have any similar situation. Very disappointing that my last review was discredited by the owner saying I am lying about this experience.This account IS my pseudonym for MY privacy which is important to me.

Comment: Five star service and treatment!I was running late because I passed the parking lot. I called and they were super nice about it. When I arrived, I was immediately taken upstairs, which I loved because I’m not into seeing people walk in the door or watching the downtown passerby. i was offered beer, wine, champagne, water, and maybe some other things but I don’t remember because she had me at wine. Lol.The technician was extremely nice and gentle and took her time with my feet. I can only speak to their Russian pedicure because that’s what I received. Many people may not be familiar with this treatment. If you aren’t, please Google it before getting it. I love love love Russian pedicures! It’s done dry, but they go a step above and do a sugar scrub after the dead skin and cuticles are removed. My feet look great!I loved it so much that I scheduled an appointment for my girlfriend the NEXT day. I look forward to coming back and checking out their other services. 🥰

Comment: BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. OMG. I needed a last minute appt to remove my gel x and was really worried about the fragility of my natural nails. I had no idea they did Russian manicures here and I’ve never gotten one, but I’m so glad I randomly walked in because this was the best manicure I’ve gotten in my life. My nails looks beautiful, so clean, classy and simple. The quality of the work was unreal. Even though they were closed, Ellie took the time to still go above and beyond on my nails and I’m just throughly amazed. I rarely write reviews but I feel the need to share my experience.

She trimmed one inch and did quick blow dry (no styling) which all took 20 mins.They charged me $120.00 (without a tip) for one inch trim, no wash, and no styling. The price seemed way too much for just a trim.

Comment: I visited the salon for a much needed hair trim. I made an appointment over the phone (Although you can book easily online too). My hairdresser was delayed by an hour because she was stuck in traffic. I didn’t mind because my schedule was flexible that day. When she arrived she was polite and worked with me and the receptionist (English was not her first language) to get my hair done the way I wanted it. It turned out beautiful. Thank you Olga.While I was there I saw another client getting their eyebrows tinted and shaped. I was very interested in getting this done as well. Anastasia was great to explain what could be done for me since I was new to this. She worked meticulously on my brows and made me feel comfortable about having this service done.Thank you to everyone at Logunova for a really positive experience.

Comment: I’ve never had such a wonderful experience from start to finish at a salon. Especially as a walk in.I was greeted by the smile of Rita immediately. She was so helpful and kind as a walk in. I originally wanted to see if they had anyone for a pedicure, just curious, as we knew it was probably too late, and it was. However, my husband wanted me to ask about getting my hair done as a valentines present from him.So, I told her that it was basically a difficult job as I had a friend and I try to dye it pink and messed it up - so knew I was going to see a large quote. She showed me the menu and calculated my estimate. She told me to come tomorrow in the afternoon at any time so I can talk to Polina, the owner and the woman who would be taking care of me. That all sounded great to us, so we went home a few blocks away.The next day I was greeted again by the very sweet Rita. She introduced me to Polina and Victoria and as I told them about the calamity that was my hair, all three women were confident that they could fix it up and I immediately felt like I was in great hands.They got to work fast. And I mean I felt like a queen! The salon had a lovely little open bar and of course this is the perfect time to order a champagne! As the blue aching time passed, it was indeed getting late. But I had the owner, herself, finishing up my hair until the late evening. She and Victoria worked their butts off, I was totally impressed and not used to this level of service in Los Angeles, where as a transplant I had gotten used subpar, lazy and often deceitful service.This salon is none of those things. By the time they were finished with my color my hair was so soft, it smelled amazing, it was hot pink, it had depth. Did I mention it didn’t smell like a megaton of chemicals? I didn’t even know that was possible. I thought when we got our hair done we went home put our head on our pillow and reeked of chemicals until a couple washings.It was late in the evening with Polina, so we decided to blow it out and have a hair cut the following day. It was a holiday, after all, Polina is running a family business, so her young children were here at work with her and you could hear little bits of their laughter as they played in another room. Very sweet!By the time I came in for the third day, it felt like coming in to see my girlfriends. I said hello to a now blue haired Rita, we compared hair colors, blue and pink, how cool do we look? Then I sat in a comfy chair again while Polina cut away the perfect style for my face shape while I told her my goal of having silver hair, she said: ‘oh I can do that’ I had no doubts she could.I really enjoyed my time there. I could go on about how pristine and state of the art the salon was, that it offered every service, that it was impeccably clean and sparkly… but I most enjoyed my experience with each and every person who worked there. Comment: Skilled, high-quality, and responsive sums this place up. I came in for a wash, cut, and style after making a quick online appointment. I’m very choosy and critical of my hair as I’ve rarely ever been fully satisfied with a haircut. I hate when stylists leave my shorter than what I asked for and give me choppy layers. HOWEVER, my experience here was wonderful. I’m very impressed with the intricacy of my layers and the actual time and she spent on my hair. I really appreciate that she took the time to listen to my preferences and gave me exactly what I asked for. My hair isnow layered beautifully and looks so much more voluminous. I’m so grateful I found this place I only wish I took a before and after.
