I have received treatment at Laser Away prior to coming here to see Dr. Andrew, and this office is by far the most thorough, informative safe and effective way to get your treatments done. Dr. Andrew is so passionate and respectful, making sure you're comfortable and fully informed. Unlike other locations, the actual doctor is the one who is face to face with you providing the treatment. Office and Dr are overall family vibes, comfortable and easy. I would recommend this location to anyone! Saw some reviews stating clients were upset about putting down a card to hold their spot. If you show up to your made appointment, the holding card will not be charged. It's in place to protect the business just like any other appointment would be to ensure the provider is not losing out on double spots by having a no-show. Keep your appointment or let the office know if you can't, this is something we should all be practicing with any reservations for any organization. :) 10/10 review.

I came to Electrolysis San Diego to get work done on my beard. Im not a big fan of shaving so getting some hairs especially in my neck area removed permanently was the goal. So far I am very happy with the results I see. I initially came in for a consultation, which is 100% free, unlike some places I called before in El Cajon and in San Diego. The location is very clean and the staff is really friendly from the receptions to the electrologist. You wont be disappointed.

Under new management, originally their location was down the street known as lucky nails but due to unforeseen circumstances they wore forced to move out temporarily until further notice. Nancy and Sam are very kind and hard working not to mention the rest of the staff Nina and Tina all have great costumer service and know what they are doing, they all do an amazing work. I highly recommend and the reason I stay loyal to them.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at salon. I went in for balayage with subtle caramel highlights, and I showed pictures of what I wanted, and my hair came out completely over-processed bleached. There are areas of my hair that look gray, and that was not what I was going for at all. While Nikki did offer to tone it down for free, I did not want to return because the wash out was the most aggressive one Ive ever had, so much so that I was wincing while she was doing it. I had water sprayed in my eyes and into my ears. Nikki said that her spray nozzle wasnt working properly and she was going to get it replaced, but that it tended to splash clients, she said this to me after she handed me a stained towel to wipe my face, and I was left wondering why I wasnt offered a clean towel to cover my eyes from the start, especially if she knew it might splash me. I have never had so much water sprayed into my ears like that. It was so uncomfortable, and for days afterwards I had water draining out of my ears and worried that it had damaged my ears. Not only that, but she was very carless about the dye around the hairline and I had to use a loofah to scrub the dye off my skin. When she was blowing out my hair with a round brush dryer it still had hair from another client in it. I just felt like Nikki was not professional or very considerate of her clients feelings. After my hair had been blow-dried, I said that it looked way blonder than what I was going for, and she offered to tone it then, but at that point it was such an unpleasant experience that I just wanted to get out of there. The cost at the end was also a shock, as it was much more than she quoted me through text, which was $95+, I wish she would have told me upfront how much extra it would be before she started. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Nikki, and requested she refund me but never heard back.

I found Body Beautiful Spa after doing some online research. They had great reviews and I decided to request a consultation appointment and try them out. I am so glad I did.This place is great! Conveniently located near the 5 freeway in the Mission Bay/ Bay Ho area with plenty of parking. They are on the second floor of an office building, which is not exactly the typical spa locale, but dont let that deter you. This place is a hidden gem.Monica is the person who called me to schedule my appointment, answered my questions at the consultation and gave me the treatments. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions and explaining the different treatment options so that I could pick the best plan to fit my target areas.I noticed they had groupon deals, and asked about those, but one of their in-house promotions ended up being a better deal for the treatments I wanted. I did a package with 5 sessions. Each session had cavitation, lipo lite, the whole body vibration, and sauna.First time trying any of these treatments and it has been great. Cavitation and lipo lite treatments are painless. The vibration machine serves as both exercise and lymphatic drainage, so a good sweat. The sauna was a time to relax on my own, sweat and release toxins. Finished off with this cool, damp towel that has this great peppermint scent after you step out of the sauna. I bring my own towel to wear in the sauna and a water bottle that I drink from during the vibration and in the sauna. Monica refills my water bottle.Even without a strict diet, I definitely saw results.While I did work out about 2-3 times a week (about 20-40 minutes each time), l didnt make any drastic changes to my diet while on this treatment. I just made sure to drink lots of water and limit sugary drinks.After my 5th session, Ive lost 2.5 inches from my waist. I also notice my legs and butt look more toned and shapely....I think doing squats on the vibration machine make a difference.I plan on a few more sessions to reach my goal. Then I will follow-up with the vibration machine and sauna here and there for maintenance. I was so surprised at how that vibration machine gave me a legit sweat like Id worked out for an hour...and its only 10 minutes of squats and 10 minutes standing there for lymphatic drainage.Definitely recommend trying this!

I've been going to Radiance for about 2 years now. I have gotten Botox done by both Nina and Kim. The two of them are amazing. They strive for ‘natural' looks when injecting the Botox and always achieve it. I have also seen Nina for sclerotherapy twice. I started getting spider veins when I was 10 years old. I am in my 30's now and only wish that I was in a position to do it earlier. I was always embarrassed showing my legs and feel so much more confident now. Another perk about radiance is their office. It is so beautiful and inspiring that I get excited for my appointments just to go there.

So, this is a challenging review to write. I had Botox today and my nurse practitioner was fantastic.The problem was when I went to check out and presented a Groupon purchase I made in Made for half of my Botox. I have been getting treatments at Revive for over 20 years. The last time I wanted a laser treatment on my hands. I had a consult first and the woman was lovely and said even though I was already a patient there, they would accept the Groupon discount.Based on that, I later purchased a Botox Groupon for a discount. Today, I had services and when I checked out I was told I could not use the Groupon as I was an existing customer there. I explained that I was told previously groupons were accepted even for existing clients. The manager was so unprofessional. Though she eventually agreed to honor the Groupon, she chastised me and the woman who had previously told me they would accept Groupons for existing customers. She told me that person would be talked to because it was not ok and she rudely told me what I already knew which was that the Groupon said it was for first time customers.I have spent a lot of money over the years at this salon and the mission valley sister salon. Never have i experienced someone do incredibly rude and unprofessional. I get it if I was given incorrect information and was wrong, but to humiliate me and say she would “talk to” the manager who gave me incorrect information was disgusting.Revive: you need to rethink who you are putting in “management” positions. She was absolutely not what I would expect from the quality and professional services I have received at your various locations through the years.

Trish is absolutely amazing!!!! I had hair loss on the temples of my head. I had never considered scalp micropigmentation (SMP) before, but she showed me before/after photos and explained the process that made it sound so simple. And the best part, it doesn't hurt at all! There was no pain while getting this procedure done. I wanted to let people know how easy it was to get the process done and healing was very easy as well. I now have more confidence than ever.I am also getting old microblading color removed. I am extremely sensitive and numbing products don't usually work for me. Trish offers NumbSkin and I am shocked at how much of a difference it made for the pain! This is a fantastic service that she offers for no additional cost. She really takes her time and ensures that you have the best experience with the highest satisfaction.I highly recommend Scalp Studio and Trish. Her place is professional, beautiful, and sophisticated. She has great music playing, excellent temperature, very comfortable reclining chair, offers drinks with a mini fridge, and has putty to handle for some painful spots. She offers a complete package that is well worth the cost! Do yourself a favor and see Trish for your scalp and eyebrow needs, you will not be disappointed!
