Comment: Hi, I went to this place in 2016 for lip enhancement. It was a very bad experience in every way and my lips were disfigured and scared afterwards, even to this day April 2024 I have scar from it. My lips were injected 78 times the first time and the results was disfigured looked after several days and I was scheduled for second visit for correction,this time I stop counting injections to my lips after 62 times. I was tortured and still didn’t look nice. They they wanted to charge me for second time in full! I got upset and refused to pay for second time which according to their policy offered free correction if anyone not happy with the results in the first few day!. Do not trust this business. I believe the person was just injecting needles in my lips without any solution. On top of all of the drama I was treated poorly at the desk by a very young girl less than 1/2 of my age who kept rolling her eyes for me and didn’t have a clue of how to handle the situation with unhappy costumers and with horrible work of their nurses. This place is hell for people who are looking for beauty enhancement. Live with what god gave you. It would be much better than what you will end up with at Revive Carmel Valley. Good luck

I took my daughter in to see her for a facial as she has been struggling with acne for quite a while; seeing dermatologists and using different treatments, differin gel… all leaving her skin inflamed, raw, and with quite severe hyperpigmentation as a result of the acne. Every sunscreen my daughter used, burned her skin due to the inflammation, and trying to care for her skin was becoming a nightmare.Malia was PHENOMENAL with assessing her needs, did a super job with her facial treatment, and made different product recommendations for regular care; she tailored her product recommendations to the needs of my daughter’s skin, rather than just recommending one line of skincare. There was no “one size fits all”.I was desperate to give my daughter some hope that some thing would help and I bought the 4 products Malia recommended. OMG that was the best decision I could have ever made!!!!!A few days after her facial, my daughter shared with me that she is so relieved that the sunscreen Malia recommended is not burning her skin like every other sunscreen was. The extractions left her skin clearer for the first time in a very long time, and the inflammation and rawness was slowly subsiding. She has even started seeing the hyperpigmentation get slightly lighter.Best decision I could’ve ever made. Worth every penny spent on the facial and products!Thank you Malia!!!!!

Comment: Its been about 2 months since I finished my last cool sculpting session with Revive Med Spa. I do have to say, I am very disappointed with the results. During my consultation phase, I was told that I would lose the fat and keep it off...sounds great right? Wrong, just a faily tale. About two weeks after my final session, I noticed that the fat was still there. There was very little difference in my physique. This was very disappointing cuz not only was I working out every other day (walk/running 5 miles)but I was also eating right as well. So logically one would assume that these changes would help speed up or atleast show SOME noticeable result, but no, this was not the case. As of late, I have not lost any weight and the areas that were treated, the flanks(lower back fat) and chest still remain the same with no change.This procedure was a failure and not worth the $3200 that I paid. Nothing happened and no results were seen.I am very disappointed that I was lied to and that I was told that the fat would not come back....so in my case, either it did...or it never left....I feel scammedTo add insult to injury, on my last session, Michelle(the person who did the procedure for me) forced me to leave a positive review on Google before I left.I waited till I left that place before I could edit my review. This was a very disturbing and disappointing place.Currently seeking legal action

Everyone I interacted with, from the receptionist to my very very knowledgeable RN, Kelsey, was so friendly and sincere. Too often, through my experience, these beauty places have employees who are pretty fake and insincere and it was really a refreshing change to be met with people whose sincerity really came through.Today was my first time going to Revive for a bbl treatment. Rachel at the front desk was very welcoming and attentive. While waiting for my treatment, I was browsing their product shelves and Rachel came over and explained their different brands and products without being pushy at all.Kelsey was the RN who did my treatment. She was very gentle, explained what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She didn’t try to rush through my treatment and took the time to explain post treatment care. I am tempted to join their membership!

Same lines before and after 30mg also lip filler makes no change to lips at all..my lips looked exactly same before and after...except I was $1500 out of pocket!!The staff are rude, and just want to take your money. When their products dont work they are unwilling to help. They ignored my calls and emails... nurses are useless and Dr Verma lies and says cant see lumpy lips when everyone else could..I felt huge lumps even though my lips looked the same. Avoid at all costs and use another place for Botox or fillers!

The stylist offered to tone it but I feel uncomfortable with her skills and therefore asked for a refund. I had to check in a month later to ask again to be told to ask the stylist. I don’t feel I should have to reach out to the individual stylist to ask for a refund when this can be completed in house. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

I have been getting botox and filler regularly for over a decade now and Jen is my favorite. I have hooded eyes and she uses a technique on me that doesnt cause any drooping or star trek brows which would always happen anytime I had it done in the past. She is very detailed and takes her time when injecting and I look forward to seeing her every time!

Comment: I have a friend who really likes this med spa so I reached out to them for some pricing on a BBL Hero and the Halo treatment-after going back-and-forth several emails they would not give me their pricing not even a ballpark. In order for them to give me pricing they wanted me to come in for a consultation it’s just IPL treatment and a halo treatment it’s not surgeryI’ve already had a consultation at SD Botox so I knew this is what I wanted I was only reaching out to them because My girlfriend really liked them- I figured if their pricing was the same I was gonna give them a try. At SD Botox all of their prices are online there’s no secrets. I’m sure everybody there is really great but I’m not a fan of their sales technique .

Kevin is my hair master and can’t imagine going to anyone else. I see him every three weeks for color touch-up and sometimes cut and style and he is amazing, he also gives the best scalp massage (trust me on this — heavenly!). Katelyn is the only aesthetician I would ever trust to touch my face again. I don’t know how she does it, but her magic hands always make my face look and feel healed, corrected and refreshed every time. Not to mention, her facial massage technique is intoxicating! 💆🏻‍♀️ I also come here for Botox and recently did my micro blading treatments and loved the results. I had Botox today and my nurse practitioner was fantastic.The problem was when I went to check out and presented a Groupon purchase I made in Made for half of my Botox. I have been getting treatments at Revive for over 20 years. The last time I wanted a laser treatment on my hands. I had a consult first and the woman was lovely and said even though I was already a patient there, they would accept the Groupon discount.Based on that, I later purchased a Botox Groupon for a discount. Today, I had services and when I checked out I was told I could not use the Groupon as I was an existing customer there. I explained that I was told previously groupons were accepted even for existing clients. The manager was so unprofessional. Though she eventually agreed to honor the Groupon, she chastised me and the woman who had previously told me they would accept Groupons for existing customers. She told me that person would be talked to because it was not ok and she rudely told me what I already knew which was that the Groupon said it was for first time customers.I have spent a lot of money over the years at this salon and the mission valley sister salon. Never have i experienced someone do incredibly rude and unprofessional. I get it if I was given incorrect information and was wrong, but to humiliate me and say she would “talk to” the manager who gave me incorrect information was disgusting.Revive: you need to rethink who you are putting in “management” positions. She was absolutely not what I would expect from the quality and professional services I have received at your various locations through the years.

Comment: Terrible. They did Botox In my four head and now one eyebrow is a half an inch shorter than the other and they say they can’t do anything about it. They won’t refund money And tell me it’s normal. I’ve had Botox done over the years with many providers and have never had such a poor result, ever.

Comment: This was my first time having anything significant done to my face, so I was anxious to say the least. But Im SO in love with my lips after my appointment with Mena that Im already excited for my next visit with her.I initially planned to get the Volbella injection, but after talking with Mena about what I expected after the injections, she recommended the Juvederm Ultra Plus. She was very consultative during our discussion so I felt 100% confident and comfortable making the change.For those who havent had injections done before, its not comfortable, but its definitely bearable. Its nothing compared to a piercing or tattoo, but you have to remember to breathe (something that I forgot to do and got a little clammy mid-way through). Even when I started to waiver a bit, Mena didnt skip a beat and made sure I was comfy and gave me a little sugar boost with some juice. She was super sweet the whole time.The procedure itself was relatively painless and Ive been healing well, so Ive been happy with everything overall. I had to wait a couple weeks to get an appointment with Mena, but I dont think Id see anyone else but her when I return!

Comment: Alicia at Revive in Carmel Valley cut all my babys hair off!!! We came in and asked for a very experienced stylist to ensure a good cut. My son is 2.5 and always had longer hair with curls and we absolutely LOVED it. We went in and asked to keep the same hairstyle, length, etc but to just clean it up a bit. We talked about an 1 -1 1/2. Usually when a stylist cuts hair I see them pull up the hair and start trimming. She was sitting on the opposite side of where we were standing and she seemed like she was there a long time so I got curious and what I saw next broke my heart. She had cut all my babies hair to the scalp. She had done so much we were forced to watch them cut all my babys hair and all I could do was cry. Management told us that the stylist said we told her to go shorter and we did from 1 to 1.5 but she cut off literally 4-5 of his hair. Thats is just negligent. As a parent, deciding when to cut your childs baby hair is a monumental decision and one we were not near ready to do. Every time I look at my little boys bare neck my heart hurts. Even though itll grow back its not the same because his baby hair is now gone.

Comment: Erica is an amazing hair stylist and does great with blondes. I moved here a year ago and tried a few stylists and was never happy. Mostly because I have fine naturally light brown hair and majority of stylists cannot process it right and it turns out with an orange tint. I go to Erica for full highlights, cut, and any beauty advice. Not only is she great with hair but great on product knowledge and follow up care. She takes her time and if you feel like chatting she is awesome and will chat, but if youre more of a sit and read a book while at the salon she respects that. Basically she will make you feel comfortable and beautiful!

Comment: I came here during spa week to get the Ultimate back, neck, and shoulders massage. The masseuse was courteous and the massage was exactly what I needed--just the back, neck, and shoulders. It was not much of a deal for spa week ($50 for 45 minutes while it is usually $60 for 45 minutes) though it was worth it, since I usually ask for emphasis on neck and shoulders and get anything but the neck and shoulders. I would definitely go back just for that service.
