Intro: Cutting black peoples hair in California is like pulling teeth. Sit seems like this market focus on white and Latino hair, and being from Atlanta, this is a culture shock. Being in the hair Capital of the world, Atlanta can cut anybodies hair because they specialize in hair. I went to multiple barber shops and my hair cut was always a mess, until I met Reg the barber.Price:The price he charged me for a hair cut is very good. Other barbers that are over charging people need to stop and go back to the drawing board. If your going to charge a Master Barber price, you better have skills like Reg the Barber.Haircut:I was nervous when I came to the barbershop and the chair was empty. However, he schedules mostly by appointment and will take walk ins. He didn't push back my hairline and he hasn't cut up my face with sharp razors. Based on your face type, he can recommend multiple different styles. Reg takes a lot of care when cutting your hair. Also, my hair looks healthier since I have been going to Reg. I would recommend his service to anyone because you can't have everyone in your head (true statement).Personality:Reg is very professional and makes sure not to have you wait (which is a huge plus). Booking appointment is the best option because he will make sure to be courteous to your time.Location:This barber shop is located in a very popular part of town and by a lot of shops. It's going to be packed, so if you book an appointment with Reg, make sure to be earlier than normal to be able to park.Overall:I recommend Reg the Barber to anyone, especially black people, needing a haircut in California. Again, you cannot have everyone in your head, however I recommend you go see Reg the Barber. I am a loyal customer to him.

Just got my four year sons haircut by Max and he was awesome! Max works great with kids and kept the conversation going on interesting while we waited. My sons hair looks great. He asked what we wanted and double checked with us throughout the haircut to ensure he avoided giving us something we wouldnt have been happy with. Thank you for everything Max, well definitely be back to see you soon!Update: my son is now six years old and we have been coming to see Max ever since my first review. This shop, Max, and every barber here are awesome! Well continue to come here for my six year olds haircuts and as soon as hes old enough, my little one year olds haircut.Thank you Max, youre wonderful!

Shop was open before advertised opening time 9 am on a Sunday per Google maps. As soon as we walked in we were friendly greeted, I was shocked there was a sign in sheet for people who did not have an appointment which I greatly appreciated there is a lot of organization here. While waiting about 20 mins another barber walked around with the sign in clipboard to make sure everyone was signed in which again I highly appreciated since this is ensuring no one is waiting unnecessarily, Ive never been to a shop who did that personally. Music was chill mostly oldies. A lot of comfortable seating area. Come early since this shopping center gets real busy during the day we had no problem finding parking this early. When my son was done getting his hair cut he was unhappy the review is not reflecting that, although the experience was great the 3 stars are because my son was cut around his right ear, my son mentioned he went hard on his scalp with the clippers.

I called two days in advance to schedule a hair cut and was told to call before I came in to the shop. But when I got there a had to wait for 3 people in front of me I told the manager or owner no problem but then another customer walk in and he put him in front of me. I had been wait already for over an hour. This is not the first time that this happens at this barbershop. Well if you are willing to wait for over hour and half or even longer this maybe the shop for you but I will no longer visit or recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you Luis for answering, Willy is a great barber with lots of customers but I dont think that he knows how to manage his time or schedule customers.

A bunch of professional, respectful barbers. Ive been there 4 times and at first I was a little worried that theyd pushed me off on who seemed to be the intern, but he took his time and regardless of the language barrier, my explanation was executed thoroughly. The prices are more reasonable than most shops Ive been to, its clean and family friendly. Thank you, Israel.

Slimy secret charges on every drink!The bar sneaks 18% gratuity and extra service fees onto every bill, which you will never be told about, but you will be forced to pay. Then they have the gall to ask for additional tip on the receipt. You will not find out about the extra charges until after your card has been swiped, youll only see them if you read the receipt carefully, and you will have no power over how much they choose to charge you in addition to the price of the drink. Its so slimy, and I feel taken advantage of.Its not even about the money, which is about the tip I would pay anyway, its about feeling swindled in a situation where I had no agency.Another frustrating thing: The bar only offer menus through a QR code, and the bartender was weirdly combative when I asked for a printed menu. He steadfastly refused to provide a paper menu or offer any other solutions when I told him my phone was dead. He wouldnt even talk to me about the menu, even though there were only three customers in the entire bar. I dont understand this refusal to provide a simple menu.Between the silent fees you dont have any control over and the bartender that refuses to tell you what they offer, the whole experience is pretty dehumanizing.The ambiance is nice though.

This guy Israel is not real the worst I will never go to this shop again he put four different color of dye in my hair had me look like a fool made all my hair fall out .I should had knew something was wrong becouse his girlfriend kept shaking her head .he sent her to get more dye she came back with. Weed . so he used what he had so what this fool did was put four different kind of dye in my head..if I can give this fool a zero i will . never never go there run

This place doesn't understand not all men come in wanting to come out with the same haircut as every else.I showed exactly what I wanted, and I got a 2 cut all around my head with about 8-10 inches of hair on the top of my head, and they said wa'la like it was perfect ?I still paid because I felt bad about how incompetent the barber was to take my simple request to just get a trip, instead I had to completely cut all my hair and even the length out.Also, I didn't know a fade was a combover, and looked choppy.Seriously it looks like the sides of my head went through a blender.I do not recommend this place, because the barber first started giving me an attitude after I told him I wasn't satisfied. If a customer isn't satisfied, than you do the best to fulfill their needs.This place needs a whole “makeover”

I have been coming here since the pandemic allowed them to open back up. Its great to walk into a salon or barber shop and they know exactly what you want. And the atmosphere is pleasant and happy. I could literally fall asleep in the chair its such a peacful atmosphere.
