Comment: WOW. I went to Pia to get waxed before my wedding, and my oh my what a TREAT. First of all, Pia is the most amazing and generous soul and the space is so warm, welcoming and so chic. Pia made the appointment fly by so quickly with her fun loving, sweet and playful spirit. It mostly felt like I was hanging out with close girlfriend. Also - it was the easiest breeziest wax Ive ever had in my life. I didnt know a Brazilian wax could be so painless! Pia uses a special wax from Spain that was so much better on my skin than anything ive ever had used before (including sugaring). Book Pia now - I truly cannot recommend her enough!

The hard wax is my favorite and there aren’t many people who use it, especially in Marin. Everyone told me it was going to hurt so bad (they hadn’t come to pia) I was so nervous & scared but it didn’t hurt that bad at all! She was very friendly & professional. Her studio was very clean and super cute. She was on time as well. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything. I wish everyone could experience their first wax or any wax for that matter with Pia. She’s the BEST!!

Comment: After nervously searching for somewhere to get my first wax in years, I stumbled across Waxing Moon. When I saw all the rave reviews, I figured this was the spot to try! Turns out, it was even more wonderful than the reviews led on. The environment was gorgeous, and Pia was super sweet - instantly making me feel comfortable despite being a “first timer”. The wax was much less painful than I imagined it would be and was over in a flash. Highly recommend for anyone whose on the fence about trying a wax!

I have gone to her shop several times now and she has both waxed and tinted my brows, as well as waxed my upper lip.My brows look beautiful and her waxing never hurts or irritates my skin.Unlike most waxing studios she uses a hard wax, which does not injure the skin.In the past I had tried many other waxing shops. I would ALWAYS end up the red, burning and irritated skin where they had waxed me and even ended up with a bruised eye lid at one salon!I will always stay at Waxing Moon Studios! Her studio is dreamy and so clean, she even has a warming pad on her table, which as a perpetually cold person I very much appreciated. She’s so friendly and professional. Comment: Ashley Pia is hands down the best waxer I’ve ever had. I’ve used a ton of different people and just thought it was always supposed to be terribly painful and inflamed for a few days afterward with a bunch of stray hairs or patches left over. Apparently people just don’t do it right. I had landed on sugaring as my best bet until Ashely convinced me she would do a fantastic job with traditional wax. I agreed and had no expectations whatsoever. Rarely am I completely blown away by someone. I’m typically satisfied with average. She is not average however. She is a master. Seriously. You will not regret it. It was virtually painless, my skin is soft as hell, hair free and no irritation at all. Plus- she is fairly priced and made me feel so comfortable in my body, and we talked like we had known each other for years. A+++

Comment: I have been a client of Pia since 2013. I live in San Francisco and make the trip out to Marin every month, which should say something about her work. She is precise, attentive and treats you with the kindness of a friend. Her waxes are clean and as painless as possible (I’ve had my share of painful and messy waxes from other esthetician’s) and she always does an immaculate job. I also noticed that since she started waxing me I almost never get ingrown hair because of the quality of wax she uses. Also, the studio is beautiful and she is a very talented with interior design, she is so creative and crafty. All of the art and installations are her own creations, mostly from reclaimed and upcycled materials. Pia is amazing!

She is fast, very professional, and uses awesome products (my skin is super sensitive and I’ve never had a problem). Comment: Where do I even begin! I have been going to Pia for all my waxing for almost 6 years now! I first started seeing her when she was in San Francisco, but now I drive all the way from the East Bay to Marin every time because she is that good - I refuse to see anyone else. She is so good at what she does, makes you feel so comfortable, is so knowledgeable, and makes it a truly painless experience. Her waxes are all organic and natural and do not irritate your skin whatsoever. I used to go to European Wax Center and get ingrowns and break outs after my waxes like crazy because I have super sensitive skin, but I have none of that with her wax and techniques. Her salon is super bohemian and adorable and extremely clean! She has become like a best friend and sister to me too because she is just such a beautiful soul and kind person. Pia is a waxing goddess and just goddess of all things, truly. I love her so much.
