Ive since been getting facials and all other types of services. I call it a poor mans spa day 💇💆😂🤩😛 Practice self care peoples!

Comment: Went with long hair for a short haircut and beard trim. Top notch instructors guided my student through the whole process. Even though the student doing my cut, Megan, is in the last few months of her schooling, the instructors gave great tips and hands-on guidance. They really know their stuff, guiding her through the unusual assignment of beard and mustache with great results!Thanks to Megan and instructors!Just be sure you allocate the time for this - the students are still learning and/or practicing.

Comment: The last time that I went there 5 years ago, I paid, walked out, and vowed to never return. Today, I took a chance and made an appointment to get my hair deep conditioned and wet set. When I arrived, I noticed that the atmosphere was completely different. I was nervous, but was soon put at ease. I decided to add a toner treatment, and they threw in a straight razor shave for free! The students and instructors were amazing, and I felt completely pampered. They are now so creative and open minded. My experience was so pleasant that I can now honestly give them an 11 out of 10. All o5the services only cost me a total of $50.00, and was worth every penny!

Comment: The girl that washed my was sweet but did not put much effort in washing my hair and didnt do the nap in the back where she would have had to have me lift my head a bit to get washed. She was to timid with the whole process.

Comment: I went in to get my hair colored was told to wait a week cuz the color had to be ordered went in for my appt a week later and was told they didn’t know they needed to order the color when at my first appt I was told the color was ordered that morning after I left I was told by my instructor that she was no longer going to do my hair because I was being disrespectful for demanding a discount would not recommend going here go to a actual salon with people that know what they are doing these people are extremely rude my appt was at 9 and then they called me at 8 o clock and told me they didn’t open till 10:30 so I rescheduled for 10:30 only to have to wait till 11 to get in the school and then had to leave because the manager forgot to order my color they are unorganized and very unprofessional and disrespectful they are cheap yes but it’s worth it to pay to go to a actual salon cuz the gas money to go out there 4 times was not worth it

Comment: I am a barber student at Shasta School Of Cosmetology, and have had nothing but a great experience! The staff are great! Friendly! DJ the owner is not only a great teacher but really cares for his students and it shows!Dezmand is the barber instructor and is really just a fantastic teacher! He pushes you to be better and go beyond what you think you can do! He cares about our success and cares about the industry!! And it shows!Lori/Sailor/StaciaReally wonderful gals, and have a great ability to teach! Every time I have a question not only do I get an answer but I feel like a learned something!Wendy and Terry in the office!Most helpful and always on top of what we need as a student!If you are looking to attend this school! All I can say is put in the work… listen well, and it will change your life! The staff rock and I have learned a lot!This school is worth attending! Or just going to get a service done! Very professional and very friendly!

Comment: My sister and I went in together and got our hair colored, we both had wonderful girls, mine was so sweet and professional, she did an awesome job and the process took about an hour, the instructor was also very nice, explained their process and thanked me for coming in, I will be back . I had better service there, then at a professional place and paid less with better results! Thank You!

Comment: I was treated very badly They told me I can use my Own gel Polish from home To get an a acrylic Fill for $10 When I got there they started doing my nails Then told me about the hidden fees $8 to apply jel polish and 5 dollars to remove jel polish Which adds up to the same as my usual fill at an actual nail place They started my nails in when it even finish them So I left with Messed up nails They wouldnt even let me wait for my ride on their property

Comment: I attended a state board practical prep class as Im licensed in Oregon and needed to take the state board test to transfer my license in California. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, the students I spoke to were as well. All students and staff were very professional and the school seemed to be ran very well. I left feeling very confident in my test to come.

Comment: Im pretty easy going when I get my hair cut, and love being able to not only get it done right, but to be able to also give someone else a chance (I donate my hair i get cut) to have real hair without them having to spend a lot on it themselves. Here, I can do that. ♡♡♡

Comment: Appointment on 7/16/2015 at 9:45 w/nail tech Maria. The setting IS a school so it was loud & the set up for my full set (silk wrap) @ $15.00 was unstable aa it was a small table that moved for her & a hard chair for me.Unfortunately this is a case of you get what u paid 4 - 3 hours after my manicure I had chips & by the end of the night I had pieces of silk wrap showing on various nails. Today on the 20th I have 1 nail that has peeled off.Going 2 a school for another procedure is not something I will b doing again as I felt I threw my $$ away.
