Comment: I recommend any black female specifically to book with Destiny because she’s truly amazing at what she does when it comes to my typa hair. Comment: The students are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I had a conditioning treatment for my hair and it came out so nice and smooth. I had a gel manicure and a pedicure and it was done so nicely and it lasted more than two weeks. Also, I decided to have a hair coloring and texture and with Miss Lindas guidance and directions, the color came out nice and to my liking. I highly recommend this beauty school for hair and nail services. Miss Linda rocks and keeps the students motivated with a great attitude and teaching approach. Thank you to all the students and staff that I had the pleasure of having contact with.

Comment: At first glance I was very skeptical about coming here due to mutiple causes such as negative reviews and the overall fact of having to be worked on by students, however I continued to book an appoinment for a mens cut with Alyssa and I was by far impressed on how it came out, the work is almost indistinguishable from a professional.Collectively this is a great place to come to, the staff is very kind and helpful, the students know what theyre doing and the prices are absolutely astonishing and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming.I will be coming back!

Now I know they are students which is okay if the results do not come out good but, the problem is that the student really damaged my nail. I had to remove my nail 3 days later because it was beginning to hurt.My nail had a big crack and it has a hole. I am actually scared to go back to this location.

Comment: I have been going to this school over 8 years. I have had in the pass only two bad experiences with having my hair done there. An even those times the Director was caring and they corrected the problem. The DIRECTOR I believe her name is Linda is so professional and very experienced. She is willing to help her students and goes above and beyond to attend to all aspects of her job. She is a TOP DIRECTOR I do hope the Academy truly appreciates her work. She definitely needs to be ACCOMMODATED.Thank you!

Comment: I just graduated last week from the manicure program. Miss Myra was the best instructor anyone can ask for!!! She was very informative, hands on, encouraging, and motivating. Miss Myra not only built up my skills as a future nail technician, but she built up my confidence. She is an amazing teacher and she is truly invested invested in the success of her students. If anyone is interested in becoming a future nail technician I highly recommend the Fontana location with Miss Myra!!!!

I get that maybe we should wait outside but couldn’t they have chairs so you would need to sit on the ground. Also was told she wouldn’t honor my senior discount. There was a few seniors waiting outside.

Comment: Reading such bad reviews saddens me, I actually attended this school many years ago and it totally changed my life for the better. They took an interest in all of the students passing stateboard, they gave us job leads, although they did not teach trendy styles, they taught us the basics and it was up to us to elevate our skills. Most of us passed stateboard on our 1st attempt. I have been a salon owner for now 20 years, it wouldnt have been possible without this school.

Comment: My daughter and I use to attend this school, after being treated like S*^! by the Director as well as learning she was price changing and pocketing the extra money I was over it. She would charge according to how she was feeling that day, she also would talk and whisper about me as well as other customers to the students. She was outside with the students pointing at the Cops and Firefighters during the parade, calling them over to take pictures and saying how HOT and Cute they were.... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL customers were coming up asking her for assistance and she was very rude to them because they were interrupting her teenage cackling session with the students.!! I also learned the last Director had been doing some shady things as well...SMH well they lost 2 a great consistent paying-tipping customers...

Comment: First time at this location very unperfetional all the way around linda the instructer paid no attention to the students . 1 hispanic student ask the bg Black gorl to come out n smoke a pen wich is the same my Husband has so yea they were smoking weed while working .I made several comments about the students behavior, I was told linda has favorites which is irrelevant she had no clue of all the running and playing that went on outside her office doors. She also allowed old students to come hang out and tat student also went to smoke while all this went on my nail tech could not complete my nails with excellent service .Icalled several times to report students bit it looks like this school will have a large turn over rate never go their you wont experience any positive work
