Comment: I started working with Renu Dermatology months ago after my eye swelled up and was painful from an increase in my daily makeup usage.Initially I saw my primary care doctor, who prescribed me a steroid cream and a Z pack to bring down the swelling. I’ve grown up with sensitive skin my entire life and get nervous about over-using steroid creams. I started calling around to dermatology offices to see if I could get my eye looked at further ASAP. Every dermatologist within a 25 mile radius said they were booked out for at least 1-3 months. When I called Renu Dermatology and explained the situation with my swollen eye, they got me in for a visit within 2 days.I’ve been to Renu Dermatology a handful of times now as I’ve worked through healing my skin and decreasing my skin sensitivity. Doctor Nguyen and his staff are all very knowledgeable, caring and professional. The office is clean and beautiful, and scheduling is easy. I’ve loved working with the team at Renu and highly recommend them.

Comment: Dr. Nguyen is very helpful and professional. Answers all of your concerns and questions. My oldest daughter been seeing him couple years now as she started having acne issues. Dr.Nguyen tried couple treatments and prescriptions till finally narrowed it and daughters acne went away, now she shows up for follow ups and more prescription/treatments.I also bring my two smaller children to treat some warts. Again couldn’t be happier with Dr.Nguyen and staff. Thank You DocAlso facility is well cleaned maintained and so is the modern equipment he uses for certain treatments.

Comment: Went for Melasma and TBH, this dr has actually helped me fade the Melasma using his system. I was skeptical at first since I figured its normal to try and sell the clinic brand but it actually did help me more than the drs in Glendale dermatology that supposedly were experts in melasma who just gave me pills that only worked temporarily. Ill continue using Renu system as I have seen major improvements. Hopefully it continues fading more

Comment: Ive been seeing Dr Daniel Nguyen and staff for a couple months with a bad case of follicitus on my scalp and itching randomly all over my body on and off with with obvious signs anywhere for the body itching(come to find out it wasnt really itching, it was sensativity coming off as itching). First off, the staff are great and I recommend coming here to see Dr Nguyen. Back to the point, I was diagnosed fairly quickly with the follicitus and treated accordingly with some oral antibiotics and ketaconasol shampoo, mind you I had a bad case, could of been from a previous covid infection months before seeing the Dr. Anyway, Im doing well and and clear of that scalp issue. I would like to add Dr Nguyen is very thorough and even check my entire body for moles and even removed a couple just to have diagnosed as regular moles. Very happy with this office.

Comment: I was a patient with Dr. Nguyen, a couple of years ago for a mysterious rash that appeared on my face and he is literally amazing. He is the only Doctor I visited that actually cared about my skin and giving me creams that would have the least severe side effects to treat my skin condition. He helped me taper off of a harsh steroid cream that was given to me by another doctor. He really cares and takes pride in his work, and more importantly he cares for you as a patient and your overall well-being. He will not suggest something to you without making you fully aware of any potential side effects. He is a very thoughtful kind man. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen as a Dermatologist. His office is also very clean, beautiful and inviting!

I had an allergic reaction to a medication that was prescribed by the doctor and when I called the office, the staff said they would let the doctor know and call me back that same day. I didn’t receive a phone call at all. I called again the next day and once again had to let them know that my allergic reaction was still going on and that I’ve been waiting to hear from the doctor. The type of negligence the doctor and office staff make me wonder how this practice is still running.

Comment: I was referred to Dr. Daniel Nguyen by my primary in regards to some worrisome lesions I have/had on my legs. About a year & a half ago & prior to seeing Dr Nguyen, I was referred to another dermatologist. This dermatologist took maybe all of five minutes to look at the numerous spots/lesion on my legs just to quickly & matter of fact ly tell me thats nothing to worry about over & over again. I left his office thinking cool no skin cancer. Fast forward to a few months ago while at my primary care doctors appointment I mentioned the lesion to him because it had grown & started to itch. He referred me to DrNguyen, who, after a biopsy, diagnosed me with squamous cell carcinoma, skin cancer. With Dr. Nguyen as my new dermatologist he has not only done the biopsy, he also surgically removed the cancers roots. I go back today to get the results of whether he was able to get all if it or if he needs to go back in again. He feels that, luckily,, we were able to catch it early as he doesnt believe that it has spread. He has a very warm, yet professional, bedside manner. Without having to ask him the questions, he he explains everything a patient would want &/or need to know. Then he answers any questions you may have thoroughly & patiently He really seemed to not just hear but actually listen to what I had to say unlike some doctors. He made me feel comfortable & so has his wonderful staff.I highly recommend ReNu Dermotology & Dr. Daniel Nguyen.

Comment: My experience with this clinic was not satisfying. First they charged me $100 for a consultation and he did nt make any effort specifying the reason of my acne. Second, he prescribed a medication for me that cost around $ 500 . Then, he gave me a medication from his clinic that was around $40, it is called Renu Tresional Serum which i dicovered is for anti aging purposes nt for ACNE and it burned my skin:((((((((

Comment: In the past 5 years, I suffered severe melasma. I was embarrassed to leave the house without makeup. I had to use concealer and a bunch of foundation and powder to cover my melasma up, which was very annoying! So, I yelped up Dermatology that specialized in Melasma and that are highly recommended by other yelp writers.RENU Dermatology was most recommended. Their office was very beautiful and clean with new technologies and furnitures. Their staff were exceptional very friendly, helpful and they went all out to make sure that I was comfortable. The doctor was very experienced, thorough and friendly.I had PRP done on my face and had stem cell injected in me. I saw result right after the the PRP was done. All the redness was gone after 5 days. My skin look hydrated although I dont drink much water. The PRP lighten up my skin. The blackheads on my nose was gone and the pores was all tighten up. Its like a mini face lift! Its amazing! I wish I had it done long ago!As for the stem cell, I had it done because I have joint pain. It helps me move around more comfortable without the sharp pain.My husband also had the stem cell. He noticed that he was fully energized, well and alert and wasnt sleeping on his seat working behind his desk like he always was. He said it was incredible!We truly recommend Dr. Nguyen at RENU Dermatology for all your skin and health care need. Comment: Ive been meaning to look for a Dermatologist to go to in my area regarding a pimple on my nose that will not go away. Ive had the pimple on the edge of my nose for over three years. The pimple would pop and become inflamed in the surrounding area then grow back into a solid bump over the course of a few days to a week. It has truly made me become more self conscious of myself and how I look when I go out. After looking on yelp for a Dermatologist I decided to come to Renu. Upon contacting the staff for an appointment I was very pleased with the service and they were quick to schedule an appointment for me that worked in my schedule. Dr. Nguyen was great! He was very informative and knew exactly what to do with my pimple. He discussed with me my options on removing the pimple and that it was actually a cyst! The procedure itself was fairly quick and I was out in no time. I am so happy with the results! Dr. Nguyen really cares about his patients and I would recommend anyone and everyone to come here!!!

Comment: I decided to give my face the much needed TLC that it needed so after reading the reviews, I traveled to Renu Dermatology. I was greeted by Vanessa (she was super friendly) and was able to see the doctor shortly after despite not making an appointment in advance. He explained to me that since I have very fair skin, I was the perfect candidate to get a dermabrasion. This non-invasive procedure was performed in their beautiful and new facility by a skin care professional, in which she resurfaced the outermost layer of my skin. She explained to me that this procedure stimulates the skins surface, which leads to collagen production. I felt comfortable the entire time and was able to see results immediately. My skin looked fresh, soft, and my face had a youthful vitality. Pictures do not do it justice! I was so happy with my results that I booked another appointment for August. Since I have dark sun spots and dry skin, I decided to use OC Renu’s facial cleanser. My skin has been peeling over the past couple of days as a result of the procedure and cleanser so I am looking forward to trying out the other skin rejuvenation products in their exclusive skin care line.
