He was the best of all techs that came out, so I continued requesting him because brown widows are aggressive, and have lots of babies.A year later, I am glad I chose Orkin. When I walk outside I see dead spiders big and small lying around. Some are stopped right at my doorstep. Orkin has effective spray. I even see dead bees, and large water bugs stopped in their tracks, dying. I plan on moving out because of the bug population. But, I’m so glad that I chose Orkin. Other companies say that they can’t control spiders because they don’t always walk through the spray. Orkin has it down to a science.

Scheduled the service for a Tuesday a few weeks out, a week later they changed it to the following Wednesday (which means we would be without hot water for the weekend) then they showed up a week early, with no advanced warning - they had already turned off our gas so had to schedule a gas reconnect through the utility and bathe the baby in cold water until then. The correct date and time were reconfirmed. The night before service I got a confirmation email for a time that was too early to work- after back and forth with the provider I got a confirmation that the service would start in the afternoon- only to have the fumigators arrive at 730am the next morning. When the follow up wood treatment was completed they arrived over an hour late of the 3 hour window - without any communication on their tardiness. Despite about 10 requests that I get a call from the provider at least 30 minutes before arrival I never once received a call. Just a complete lack of professionalism and the worst communication. Absolutely do not recommend.

He pointed out the access and exit points around my structure where the rodent could get inside access. This information was very important in order to prevent future invasion. Comment: I called ornic pest control because I wanted to get some peace of mind and confirm that I have no bug activities going on. Mr Flores came and inspected my whole house and educated me with how it would look like if there were any bug activities and also suggested a few things for future references which I completely appreciate it. I highly recommend them as it was easy and quick to schedule an appointment and Mr Flores inspector came in just in time.

Comment: All I can say is, Rudy is the best! He is the only representation I have of Okin the company. Well, there was one other guy who came out when I had a scheduling issue but that didn’t work out so well. Nothing against that person, but that’s when I knew that Rudy was different and is specifically really good at what he does. Always on time, always informative, always with a great personality and demeanor, and most importantly, always thorough with his work.

Comment: Great customer service over the phone where they acknowledged we have a mosquito problem and want to help unlike our prior company who was blaming us and being lazy about trying to help. When thebtechs came out they immediately identified that old company had misplaced buckets which was causing our problem to get worse. We removed the buckets and mosquitoes went away. They sprayed our lawn today and were very professional. I just wish they were a little less expensive not sure how long we will stick with them.

Comment: Juan is amazing. I live in a side of town that is in the process of gentrifying and never once did Juan skip on services because I’m not on the “rich side.” He is professional, organized, takes pride in his work, and informative. He takes the time to explain and answer questions no matter how small. He will be an attorney in the future as soon as he gets all the initial requirements out of the way. I can see by how detailed he is and how he respects his customers that he will be one successful attorney in the future. If the company is smart, they would put him in a management training program or help pay for classes if he guarantees three year employment. Either way, it’s always good to invest in good people. I was going to cancel service with them, but his professionalism and character just made me rethink it.

Comment: I had a scheduled date and time between 4 to 6 PM. The Orkin guy came in at 8:00 AM. I happened to walk out the door and almost left and he showed up so he was lucky that I was there. I know it’s not his fault he goes by with the schedule is but your customer service needs to have a lot of improvement. They are the one that scheduled me and he was told that there was no scheduled for us

Comment: I have to say so far everything have been GREAT. Would highly recommend using ORKIN. Josh has been extremely efficient in his communication and follow-up. The first two (2) services weve received have been excellent (My Mom is very pleased and she is very critical and hard to please) our next step is the Fumigation, so we will see how that goes.

Comment: Orkin put an ant gel down. Don’t see any improvements yet it’s only been an hour. The technician was very nice and professional. However, their customer service is terrible. They didn’t show up the day they were suppose to. The telephone customer service rep was rude when I called about the appointment. Rescheduled for the next morning. The technician came within the time frame allowed and he did a great job. Again, don’t know how effective the gel will be. Will know in a couple of days.

Comment: Mike is awesome! He’s been servicing our home for a few months now, and wow what a difference it’s made. We had every type of bug around outside, and have barely seen anything since he’s been treating. At the start of service he confirmed service, was prompt, and communicated when he was on his way. He arrived wearing all his protective gear to keep me and my family safe. After inspecting our property, he pointed out some areas we could fix to reduce activity and had a lot of knowledge on pests. Very happy with our service!!

Comment: The young man that was sent out today was an extremely Efficient and thorough worker.Although he was by herself and worked over 5 hours he covered a lot!! Props to him.I can see him managing one day !I purchased an extra 4 year warranty and I can only hope if I ever need any more work done that someone as officiant as the young man to day was will be sent out again . Comment: Shane called several times and kept up to date as far as my schedule and his. Everything worked out great thanks to his responsiveness. Shane did an excellent job and was very courteous and thorough. I have had nothing but luck and great experiences with Orkin. This was a warranty issue on termite treatment and am very satisfied. Just need to check my policy as far as if I’m covered for them to do the repairs or not as I forgot to ask when Shane was at the house. Excellent job Shane.
