Everyone in the office was kind and answered all my questions which really eased my anxiety. They were accommodating and quick. Despite being “behind schedule” my treatments were done by two different nurses in order to complete all my treatments within the appointment time. So far I am loving my results and plan to return as well as tell all my friends!

WHY? Because of the people - it is a very, very happy team.Its can be a chore to go get some botox sticks - but I actually look forward LaserAway. First I get to (skip a cold tele-center 100s of miles away) directly contact Michael, for an appointment. Michael gets back to me immediately (even last week when called at 8pm! [opps]), and gets me a quick appt. He has also answers all my granular questions, and educates me (which usually means Ive been misled or lied to by other spas..ughHH). Hes also many times surprised me with follow-up info and white paper-like collateral! Michael is AMAZING.Im also very appreciative of Paulina, my Botox Guru. Shes excellent re: her work, and pleasant — great fun to to spend time with every few weeks. And, she, like Michael, educates me on much having to do with skin procedures.(Thank you LaserAway for hiring and keeping happy these 2 stand-outs!).I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LaserAway. Comment: Thousands of dollars wasted with no results due to not doing the right settings on my laser hair removal and they refuse to share the details of what settings they used because they know they messed up. Stay away. I had come to them with 15 sessions of prior laser treatment in previous years so they needed to use stronger settings for me so I did a consult and even shared my prior treatment settings and they promised they would adjust the settings to higher degree to make sure it is effective but they didn’t and they refuse to even tell me what setting they used because they messed up. It was money down the drain. It makes me angry every time I think about it. They didn’t make any effort to fix it either. It is a corporate chain with no real care for the customer and lots of inefficient corporate procedure. Go to a local spa center instead where the owners actually care about your results.

Comment: I had Thermage full face and neck earlier today. I did do some research and though I had a consultation with a Dermatologist before Covid, I decided price wise to go with LaserAway. The Jury is still out as to whether I will benefit from this very expensive treatment. And, I am still in shock over how painful the procedure was.Lets start at the beginning. First of all, the Staff were all really lovely. The Nurse that gave me my treatment was very kind and as gentle as she could be. The treatment and its process is as mentioned, painful, and very messy. I was not prepared for this at all. I went in with clean hair and clothing (freshly showered) and I had to take another shower when I got home. The cooling gel got everywhere. In my hair and around the collar of my shirt. They do not offer a cloth towel, paper cover or even the type of paper cover a Dentist might use. The treatment itself was so painful that I broke down in tears from the stress at the end of the treatment. It took about two hours and the constant snapping on my skin and going over the same spot multiple times, just wore me down. But, I was mostly upset because they prepare you for results that include skin redness or some sort of reaction from the treatment itself. My skin didnt even look like I had anything done. Although, in a side by side before and after picture, my Nurse pointed out a small area around my jaw line that looked a little better. But, was all this worth 2799?There is a previous review from January where a client had a similar experience. We are both in the exact same age range, I am 62. I will update this review in a month or two to let you know if there is even a small amount of improvement.

Comment: I called last year to inquire about prices as I was newer to the states. It didn’t financially work out for me to go through with it after consulting with my husband and I let the business know. I saw on my IG that the spring sale was up and wanted to refresh my mind on the price as I am in a place where I can afford the treatment. During my phone call with the lady she told me she remembered me which I thought at first was a good thing. But when I told her I was going to consult with my husband she said ‘That’s what you said last year” trying to shame me for not rushing into a 3K + commitment. When I asked her how to get back to her she said same as last year just call… she also lied to me saying the 70% off sale would end after the weekend 03/13 and when I went to the website 2 days later 03/15 the sale was still there. Just for lying and being incredibly rude I am making sure I will go to a place that will give me better service for the 3K and more that the treatment coast. They really just seem to be about getting you into a financial commitment fast and using cheap overused sales strategy… like we get it you work on commission but don’t be rude.

Comment: I was greeted with a professional and lovely staff. Everyone is so accommodating and the environment is pristine and calm. I had an IPL done by Jeanette and 2 of her trainees. She was thorough, patient, and kind during the procedure. They took their time and didnt miss a spot. This was my 2nd treatment, as I have dark sunspots on my face. After this treatment, my face had more even tone. It was smoother and the pores we cleaner. the spots faded more, but still needed another treatment for 3 spots that are somewhat raised. Everybody was very clear instructions for post treatment. So there were no surprises. I do need to get another IPL for those spots. I also enjoyed this location because I havent been to Cow Hollow in long time. I had fun shopping also. I highly recommend Laser Away for any dermatological issues you need corrected, they are wonderful at this spa!

Comment: I have been wanting to do laser hair removal for quite some time, but it honestly just seemed like it would take forever to do all the areas I wanted to do, and break up in a way I could afford. I was also concerned about doing it right if I was going to do it. I spoke with Kayla at the Union Street location, and she listened to my concerns. She explained that I could get all of the areas done at the same time (1 appointment/3 areas), pay monthly to break it up, and that the treatment would be tracked, and the laser would be properly adjusted based off the tracking of my treatment with them. I’m about a third of the way through, and I can see the results already, I’m excited that by summer, I will be done with treatment, and not packing a razor on vacation! So happy I did it!

I was over charged when I only received part of my treatment and told I had agreed to a certain price when I signed up. No legitimate business operates like this. Comment: My treatment didnt work. I got laser hair removal for my underarms, bikini (brazilian), and face, and it only slightly slowed the growth. I was told I was an ideal candidate since I have light skin and dark hair, but that didnt seem to make a difference. Its also WAY more painful than you might think. Its more painful than getting tattooed, and the laser treatment on my upper lip zapped the nerves in my teeth which was absolutely excruciating and made me unable to finish treatment in that area. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is that the facility is clean and the staff is kind. Overall, not worth the time, pain, and money.

First, they said that I have to come for consultation first, even though I told them I’ve been doing laser before. So, I travel all the way from Berkeley. At the consultation they tell me about their equipment etc., which I could easily read online, total waste of my time. Then they make my first appointment after 2 weeks. Again, I travel 2 hours hoping I will finally get the treatment. But then they say that I have to talk to nurse first, who says that I have to get test on a small area because of medications I am on. I told them abt those medications both on the form and in consultation. WHY didn’t you tell me then? Are you kidding meu? Are you playing with people? When I express my dissatisfaction, they say it’s protocol. I ask for a manager or a supervisor, and guess what?! Apparently, there is none. I waste 5 hours each time, and tgey couldn’t care less. Good thing I only bought groupon and not the actual price.

Comment: Would give the a zero star if I could. First off I purchased a groupon for 3 session and went into their store to redeem it and they straight up lied to me. Told me that they didnt accept them there even though it clearly showed their address on the groupon. After arguing with them for a while they finally relented and accepted it but tried to make me purchase an upgrade to complete the treatment. Once I declined and said I wanted to see what my 3 treatments looked like they were super rude and treated me like a pest. Three session in and done but nothing changed at all. The laser hasnt made any difference. Waste of money and rude liars. Take your business to a place someplace else, this place and company are a joke

Comment: They burned my arm with the laser & on top of that there hair removal packages were WAY overpriced! I saw minimal results. Every appointment I scheduled they had me see a different technician which was very uncomfortable. I suggest you all find something more affordable on Groupon. Read the reviews and do your research on what laser is BEST suited to your skin tone. This was place was horrible I don’t recommend it at all and I’m pretty sure they work for commission up at the front desk.🚫AVOID at all costs your pockets will thank you.

Comment: Do not go here for tattoo removals, I saw hardly any change in my tattoo after 5 treatments and $800. If I could go back I would not have had this done here. I tried Serenity med spa and saw more fading in one treatment with them than in 5 with lazer away. The nurse also told me he’s been helping a lot of people that came from lazer away with the same experience. They charge you for packages of 5 or 10 treaments so theres no going back once you see how minimal the results are. What a scam. My tattoo looks almost the same just baaaarely noticeable difference. Not worth it.

Comment: I went to Laser Away to get my first laser hair removal ever! I was completely suprised and blown away. The process was a breeze and now I have super smooth skin. Everyone I met with was extremely friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be going back if it means no more shaving!
