Comment: The salon is lively and has a vibrant atmosphere. It was clean, bright and a lot of chairs for stylists. And because it’s so popular it was kind of loud and hectic for my taste, however others might enjoy the music and liveliness of the place. I just got a simple haircut from Kylie (the owner) and I like it. I’ll probably return to get my hair colored during less busy time.

Comment: Ive had many professional stylists as a part-time hair model. I know it sounds ridiculous. Its a gig where it really matters that the outcome is always perfect as Im sure weve all had horror stories from just winging it without doing due diligence. Im talking to places like YOU Floyds (aka Re-branded Fantastic Sams if you ask me). I digress... Tiffany was a Godsend when I found her many years ago and I recommend all my friends and coworkers to her because she REALLY CARES and LISTENS to you regarding what type of style you are hoping to walk out with. Its the way every professional should perform in any industry. Pardon me if that seems too old fashioned. She takes pride in her work and is not finished until her client gives her the word of approval. Wouldnt it be great if every professional carried themselves this way? Wouldnt we all be better off if we didnt just go through the motions but actually did our BEST with EVERY CLIENT. That is the lasting impression I have with Tiffany Z. I just wanted to let anyone looking for the best stylist in Orange County know that there are true ROCKSTARS like Tiffany. Dont settle for anything less.

Comment: I was told a certain price for the service and it was double when I checked out. They charged me separately for a blow dry AND a conditioner that I never asked for. They never told me the blow dry was a separate charge ($55, by the way) and then when I called the manager to discuss, left 3 voicemails and no return calls .

I had 20 years of loyalty and looking fantastic and had searched high and low trying to find a stylist of her caliber and vision. My search has ended! Jill Cary is every bit as good, if not better! She has vision and is an authentic artist. The salon is energetic and uplifting. World class service at Images.

Comment: I went to this salon for about 12 years. Peter Barton was my colorist. He used to talk about my friends and keep me entertained while he did a great job on my highlights.Ive always found him unprofessional, in the way he speaks of other clients, the way he pulls my hair out after washing (I stopped letting him brush me out years ago and ask his assistants to do), the way he speaks to his assistants (demands and speaks down to), and the way he has handled a last minute reschedule (not understanding, compassionate, open, and uses unprofessional language).I dont like to make people lose their jobs so instead of going to management I told him how I felt about his unprofessional behavior and lack of consideration for others. When I told him I will go to another stylist he accused me of being rude. One week later I call to see what time my appointment is and they tell me I am not allowed to go to the salon because Peter Barton is my stylist and he doesnt want me to see another stylist.Owner AL Perez said he didnt want any retaliation from Peter so he personally will not see me. Stated Peter is your stylist. I explained I am not property and will not be treated as such. He said nobody will work with me because Peter has forbidden it. I guess Peter Barton runs he salon because the oweners are afraid of him.I am leaving the country soon and have no recourse for finding another appointment at now 6:22 PM on a Fri in a storm before my vacation. This salon prefers to keep its unprofessional team member (because hes been here 22 years and I dont want any trouble), Peter, than to honor their client of 12 years.Also Peter badmouthed the owner so badly I wont provide details here.

Comment: My wife has been going here for years no matter where we have lived in Southern California. My wife will never let anyone touch her hair but Jo V. at Images. Jo is a true master at coloring and has a gift for finding the perfect cut. There was a time when I would worry will she come home with too short of a cut or with bad color? but those days are over. I know for certain that Jo will always send my wife home beautiful and Ill be calling a babysitter if you know what I mean.

Comment: I was fortunate to find my favorite stylist from years past, Greg Putnam. I had been going to a very high priced salon for years and got sucked in to the atmosphere - a place filled with that many snobs charging a small fortune had to have the best stylists in the country, right? Not so much. Shame on me for buying into it. The prices and over-fashioned personnel did not match the quality; sure the coffee was great, but the best red carpet treatment cant make up for a bad haircut and an average color job. I was in tears every 3rd haircut believing I must have the most difficult hair on the planet. I then decided to track down my once favorite stylist, Greg. Found him HERE! First, the salon is very nice, but not pretentious. The staff is great and the prices are very, very reasonable - and none of the stylists have neon magenta hair or wear clothes best suited for a Saturday night on Hollywood Blvd. Best of all, my hair has not looked this good in years! Thank you, Greg- IM A FAN!
