Comment: Excellent place, the security guards are very friendly and attentive to any situation, the staff is also very friendly when you have questions and are looking for a book, I recommend getting your library card to have access to many books & movies totally free to take home. I recommend this place for students who need to concentrate.

Comment: I used to work here but got terminated the last day of August 2011. Their magazine collection isnt as nice as the Biane Library in Rancho Cucamonga but its better than nothing.I like their Internet computers and laser printer setup.Their ILLs (Inter-Library Loans) are only $3.00 per book.Ive found some bargains in their used bookstore including out of print Watchtower publications by Jehovahs witnesses.Parking is free.

Comment: Big love for this library lots of space, I like all the windows for your view on the second floor. I dont have kids but theres a lot of fun things for them here and special events. Internet, print options lots of private rooms too so very multi purpose etc. . Its great but I have one tiny issue. These guys have got to get on the ones who dont know how to behave in a library. Always there is someone chit chatting on their phone or with another person while were all trying to focus on reading or studying etc..I bet they hate doing it but they have to. Everyone should know the expectations in a library setting. Ssssshhhhh lol

Comment: This library is amazing! It’s so much to explore here. My children and I didn’t want to leave. It’s huge with two floors and a large parking garage that I prefer parking into. You will love it here just as much as we did. Get into it!

Comment: We love Fontana Lewis library! The large selection of books and programs are great for all ages... the manager Stephanie is a jewel! My son still remembers her reading to him in the story time programs when he was in kinder he is now 20! Very good staff here. There are homeless folks out front from time to time but they are generally kind and respectful and the library does a good job of cleaning up the area to make you and your family feel safe as you discover new books.

Comment: While its a very nice and fairly new library, its chaos inside. Library ettiquite is a thing of the past. People have loud conversations, make phone calls, children screaming and playing tag. Its rarely addressed. Homeless camp out at the study tables and reading chairs. The second floor smells like urine. No respect for the building is given, or expected.

Comment: My regular Wednesday visit to the Fontana Lewis Library was a another awesome experience. One of the Awesome Staff members gave me a quick lesson on using the large flatbed scanner. After my scanning was done, I decided to capture a few photos of the beautiful, tall Christmas Tree located on the first floor, near the Flatbed Scanner. The well placed statue and wall tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is an image that I have been wanting to share.

Comment: I go to the lewis library every weekend with friends, family, and even by myself sometimes. Studying here is very nice, but to go on computers to study you need a library card. Fortunately I have one! Its completely free and easy to get one. Their are also study rooms that are provided with a library card as well. The study rooms upstairs are the best!

Comment: They have a pretty good used book store inside this library. I sometimes see out of print Watchtower publications here. The hardback Bibles are only $1.00. Thats cheaper than eBay.Solomon said to the making of books there is no end and too much devotion to them is wearisome to the soul.He also wrote that better is a handful of rest than a double handful of hard work and chasing the wind. The holy spirit is likened to wind, fire, and oil.Whoever read the 1984 NWT Bible didnt rest enough. You can hear him heave sighs and misread every now and then on the audio version. Sometimes he even sounds bored or sick and tired but is grimly determined to keep plugging along.Is there only one speed of light?The Bible says God is a sun. Which sun is he? Should it really read God is the sun? Is the sun a visual representation of God? A powerful living symbol of light and or energy?

Comment: This has to be my favorite library in the county compared to Rialto, Muscoy, Highland and Redlands. There is a lot of parking outside, in front of the library, parking garage as well!! This location is easy to get to and surrounded by so many other city facilities it makes this place standout.Inside there is a cafe with many options of food, smoothies, coffee and snacks. They have access to several resources just ask any of the helpful and polite staff.Childrens section, upstairs, downstairs, ample space for studying, relaxing, reading, studying and its so big inside anyone can find a little space that feels just right for them.The selection of books, media and music is phenomenal, and the bookstore always has amazing deals on DVD sets and movies. I love to come here mostly because of the amount of space I can find anywhere to study, read and relax, and because its the most peaceful place to me.There is always something going on as far as events, so if you have kids and or a group of friends keep in touch with the calendar of events.

Whats not to like.Added some improvements to the second floor has plenty of computers to use in different sections of the library top and bottom. Basement parking really could use a street sweeper cleaner to pass down their once every season.

Comment: I brought a protein shake because I need to at least have something to study. I thought of it as water and it was in a closed container with a straw and a bottle that is. This girl with a DORA haircut comes up to me and says I am not allowed to have it on there, and I need to either finish it or spill it in the bathroom. I said ill drink it and she stood there looking at me and was like “are you going to finish it?” Like what the heck is this type of attitude? Shes not my mom… I guess her “authority” got over her head and now shes using it against people. She needs to be disciplined.

The Fontana Lewis library is a gem of a place to sit and relax and read or research to your hearts content. The coffee cafe on site is an added bonus!

Comment: My favorite library minus all the homeless people that post up all day sleeping on the nice comfortable chairs. Lots of selections and events for the kids, a DVD library, desks to work on anything you need, and private group rooms. Its also two stories; a complete overhaul and almost unimaginable library compared to Fontanas original library that was a few blocks West from there. The city invested heavily into this library and it shows. Bravo!

Comment: After visiting a library located in another city, we concluded that Lewis Library is way BETTER. So, for years, even I am busy, tired and lazy momma-I can’t stand the fact of not bringing my kids here. Visiting libraries and reading books is their LIFE and PASSION!!!Truly, I believe that this is one GREAT venue for my kiddos to explore and borrow books as they really love reading!!! However, More than the activities, programs, prizes and raffles that this library is offering.. I am accompanying my children to borrow books primarily to READ! Because of their love for reading, my kiddos would tend to keep the books at home for a long time... resulting to max our library cards.For everyone who gets to read this: We are just ones of the contented and regular visitors of this great library, however, today and yesterday, after a series of issues dealt with the staff, I feel like I’m a “Cheating Mommy.!”After a thorough realization, I hope that...For the people to know better and to avoid confusion, I hope that the management will issue terms and conditions regarding all the policies of the library’s programs and events.After all, my kiddos borrow books for enjoyment and reading purposes not just to win PRIzES!!! It is wonderful to win and to bring home exciting stuff from the library but again, more than all these, my children borrow books for reading!!!!And, since, we come here often, and my children love this place very much-I couldn’t rate it with one star ⭐️. I just hope that they would take the reviews seriously and if needed, they would do the necessary actions and adjustments.

Comment: This is really a beautiful library. I go here to relax and read books. Very very nice inside. Lots of chairs to seat at. I like to seat near the window where I can see the view outside. It keeps my eyes relax while reading especially when I can view the outside area. Restrooms are well maintained. They have parking spaces outside and underground. Very nice when it is summer time for the car. The book selections are vast. They have movies too if you like.

Comment: The more books you borrow, the more fines! Their website was down frequently making me a lot of trouble to renew the books. They do not send out overdue notice everyday and only as a courtesy (which means you may not receive). I have been charged a fine of over $50 in just 2 months! Be careful when you borrow. They do pursue collections on you

Comment: One of the biggest and nicest libraries in the county. It obviously has books, but a lot of computer terminals, room and comfortable seating to kick back and enjoy a good book. It also has childrens section, and coffee bar.

Even if they dont have the title youre looking for, theyll order it for you. Almost always quiet, with the exception of a few crying babies and toddlers every now and again.

UNTIL.. this man started talking on his phone.. thought he would be curteous enough to only speak for about 30 seconds or so considering that he was at the QUIET Library.. he dint even bother to hang up nor did he go outside.. I was so annoyed. I couldnt concentrate. I got a headache in there.. so I had to leave. I kinda dont want to come back.

Comment: Beautiful library, great childrens programs, awesome book sales, wonderful incentives for children to read, nice staff, plenty of nice comfortable seats, clean restrooms, quiet adult sections, great educational documentaries, wonderful variety of books and cultural awareness is excellent BUT way too many discrepencies in their library check-out system for me to give them a 5 star. I hate giving any library anything less than a 5 star because I adore libraries but Im just tired of having to call the library and tell them that I already turned in a book and/or its myseriously found and no longer on my online account. The frequency that this is happening is abundant. Also, 70 % of the time I go through the self check-out, the security system is activated and starts to beep. This annoys me because although I do exactly what the staff has suggested to do, it still goes off and then I have to stand in line again. Today, I also turned in three books that were not circulated to me. At one time, I even had 10 plus books that the system was not aware of. This just reiterates my thoughts on the system. Maybe its because I always have a lot of books checked out? Who knows? Ive spoken to management and they have been polite and somewhat helpful. If this problem is resolved, I will change my rating to a 5 star. Otherwise, I am firmly at a 3 star.update: I havent had any issues for a while on my account so Im upping my rating to a 4. If it keeps up, Ill change it to a 5.-update:Management has done a great job of mitigating the issues that I originally had. No issues have arisen in a long while so Im a happy camper now. 5 stars!!

Comment: As a mom, my utmost concern is to let my children learn the FUN way but away from GADGETS and so I bring them to different places in a regular basis. Aside from enyoying the playgrounds, attending extra classes and visiting educational parks- Lewis Library is one of my kids fave spot to go to. Their comfort zone esp during hot season.It provides various activities for the children to enjoy such as purchasing new reading materials, and creating programs for the whole family to LOVE READING.You will also see and be greeted with a SMILE by the staff which makes you feel SAFE and COMFORTABLE. And this is one aspect why my kids enjoy going go the library.

Comment: It is with great joy that I visit this awesome library. The staff is curtoius and helpful, and I am seriously considering becoming a volunteer as a way of showing my appreciation. But, unfortunately, not everything is bright and shiny in the land of milk and honey. Lately, Ive noticed people talking on their phones, having conversations with one another, and all sorts of disruptive behavior. Also, the bathrooms are getting worse everyday and the stench of urine is unbearable. I suggest that the security staff make regular tours to make sure peace and quiet is being observed, and that the bathrooms get more attention.
