Comment: District Six is a great place to hang out. There are food trucks, a barber shop, outdoor workout class, and the host several outdoor events. It’s directly across from COSTCO. There are very few street parking spots available so using a ride share service is preferred. There are several events hosted at District Six and the best way to find out more is to follow them on social media.

Comment: California Seafood is the name of the truck. But the burger is most definitely a not so hidden gem o. Their menu. Loaded with all the best toppings and paired with a mystery sauce that tastes amazing, this big messy burger is worth the clean up process afterwards. Parked with a bottled cokeade from real sugar. This is a fantastic dinner of you can handle the heavy foods.

Comment: If you have an empanada emergency, this place will solve the problem. The owner from Argentina made the original Argentinian flavors but then generated more flavors for more international taste buds, still using Argentinian cooking techniques. They also had alfajores (dessert) which are very popular in Argentina.

Comment: Came here for avocado day and we were pretty happy.[The Pros]Nice selection of food. There are several food trucks, about 4 or 5 that sell a variety of items. The waits can be a little lengthy if its busy, but the food is wonderful. There is plenty of seating, nice music, and cool places to take some pictures.[The Bad]Parking can be difficult. Youll most likely need to find parking on an adjacent street, but REMOVE EVERYTHING from your car here. While the music is nice, its incredibly loud - so be prepared if you have sensitive hearing, since the speakers literally blare right where people are buying food.Definitely worth visiting if you want a new experience and want to try lots of unique food items and have a beer around other cool people!

Comment: Not as fun or hip at I remembered. There were only 4 trucks. I got something from 3 of them and the food was pretty good; tacos from Chefs Truck were large and especially delicious--though everything seemed a tiny bit overpriced. Maybe thats just food trucks though. There are several clothing vendors, which seemed confusing? And a DJ that that to blast his beats loud to be heard over the freeway. Id recommend for adults, but not great for kids.

Comment: This place is lame. I know it intimately because I have both lived and worked in close proximity to it for over 5 years. None of the food trucks are notable and all of them are overpriced. They close absurdly early and the seating area is uncomfortable. Another let down is the wifi never worked or does to this day. Its a shame because this place could be an asset to the local food scene in so many ways.

Comment: Check this! So we came down for dumpling down, paid entrance and paid for bottomless drinks. Thing is that there were 2 timeframes for bottomless drinks, but we got here close to the end of one and start of the other. After mulling over which timeframe we wanted, the hostess said just buy one for this timeframe, and come back and well change you wristband out. Well...after we came back to change our band, all of a sudden they didnt honor their previous commitment.Long story short, the food is great, but dont ever trust the word of any of the organizers. They may just tell you what you want to hear without honoring any of their commitments.

Comment: Our company had the unfortunate experience of attempting to organize 3-nights of dinners for a group of high school students here over this past Thanksgiving break.Whats started as a fun and creative idea for the kids, concluded with a plethora of additional costs we had to take on as a result of the poor service and negligence found from management.Upon our arrival for the first night, beside the desolate grounds and lack of staff, the private barn rental was scattered with guests which were not apart of our group, and only a single staff available on property which seemed to care less about our rental/reservations than he did his own work. As the students waited in lines with the $12 in vouchers we provided, it then became apparent that the vouchers for $12 didnt even cover meals for most of the trucks. When organizing this and telling them our budget was $12, at the very least they should have explained that we should either increase it, or let us know they could not match that. Instead all 300+ kids waited in lines to pay with their vouchers and any spare cash they had as many of the vendors werent even accepting them to pay the remaining balances with card. One vendor in particular, selling pizzas, was so rude and disrespectful towards the students, that I recommend they should retire from any customer service oriented positions. We got through the rest of the night and after talking with their manager to add more vouchers for the next day for each student, we had high hopes that the park would redeem itself the next evening for Thanksgiving.Upon organizing this, we had reserved the entire park for Thanksgiving night, including three food trucks to serve everyone. Upon arrival, we noticed there were only 2 trucks, who could barely even keep up with the demand. After talking with management, they said the 3rd truck was in an accident and would be late but in the end, never even showed up. With kids waiting over 30 min for their meals and lines backed up at the two trucks, we finally had to make a decision to leave the park and order pizzas for those still hungry at the hotel as the trucks were not able to accommodate the size of our group. I think what was most disappointing about this was the sheer lack of communication from management. As a group spending over $12K in 3 days and supporting small local businesses, we had much higher expectations from this establishment and its vendors. The most disappointing part is being able to see such a great concept and idea so broken. We had cancelled all other dinner plans after talking with their manager as we thought this would be a fun and unique experience for our students, but in the end it turned out to be a wash.On our final day, Friday night, after receiving a list of calls from parents and other campus staff, we were forced to find meals for more than half of the students as many refused to go back after the atrocity it had been the 2 previous nights, let alone a ruined thanksgiving. In the end, the service was far from acceptable, and although I would probably come here on my own, I would never attempt to host another event at this venue again, nor try to work with their management to resolve it.

Comment: Came here for Bobafest, the venue was jam-packed and had a line forming 30 minutes after the start of the event. They had a wide variety of foods, including options outside of Asian cuisine. Pretty much everything tried to incorporate boba into a dish.Seating is darn near impossible an hour into the event. Theres one main sitting area in the center, but there was also a makeshift dining area out of half a bus in the back. If you choose the back, just know that the bus has very poor air ventilation and you will basically be steamed in 80 degree weather. If they do Bobafest here again, I highly recommend getting 2 boba drinks and trying the Filipino food truck. Their portions are bomb and its comfort food that hits the spot.

Comment: Ive been there with a group of friends, the space is great on a sunny day but the food wasnt good. Each of my friend had food from the different trucks. From undercooked food to overly dry, there was absolutely nothing good on the menu. Pizza was the worse: crust was burned, cheese has no flavor and it was soaked in oil.Price wise: its expensive for what you get. Small things like 3 empanadas and a soda will be $19.

The food and drinks were amazing!Since, I was attending an event I dont know how busy it can get when open to the public. However, from what I gathered, they host many events here. It can be hard to know when they are open to the public.

Comment: Had a great time but there should be a capacity limit. Super packed, not enough seating, benches could be added? Not much they can do given the concept and it being an open area. Maybe adding a netted tarp over to add some shade would be nice for hot days. All in all still had a good time, but would probably be more relaxing at sparks.

This food truck was really good, this fried mushroom and oysters po boy was really filling and delicious. They also got other stuff too, but this was my first po boy. The bread and oyster matched well.

Comment: This place gets jammed packed full of people and you spend the entire time waiting in lines to pay for overpriced food. On top of that there is a five dollar cover for “special events” which usually means the trucks have a common theme or sell a special common item. Have to stand while holding you food and drink. Off the grid in the presidio is a way better option for food trucks.

Comment: Nice places to eat and party and I cant wait for it to be clean up and bigger and better. And that close fence off warehouse by it. I wish they give them more space and a concert stage with it and host better events and new living place would be great when they tare down that old warehouse and put new buildings there soon.

Comment: They forced a $5 entry fee for purchase due to a promotion. We paid it because after parking, we figured it wasnt worth driving elsewhere. Then you get in, only to realize that many of the regular food trucks are not there for the event, and those that are here are sold out of many food items. Next time make it an optional donation and get better control over the vendors participating.

Comment: Liked the concept of a space that has foodtrucks constantly, but on rotation. There is a lot of seating and some big screens to watch sports or TV in general. There are also some thematic areas, such as an old bus converted into a dining room.Regarding the trucks, I came on Tuesday July 3rd for dinner and there were only 3 or 4 of the 7-10 open, which was a bit disappointing, but maybe it was because it was holiday the next day? Ill come back and give it another try. Be aware food trucks in SF are quite expensive for the rations, its more for the novelty or experience than for the prices.

Comment: Ive been wanting to go back again since my Wonderful experience last year when I ate the best burger Ive ever had, at NoNo Burger... Alas, theyve been gone a long time. Then as it turned out, I was there in between hours today (most trucks close from 3-5pm). I happened to go at 3:45 and the only one open was not worth mentioning. Ill be going back, since I still want to try a few others soon. It seems there arent as many to choose from though. High rents on spaces are making it hard on vendors. Ill upgrade my rating if I find a few decent places when I return. Next time Ill check the hours on the Streat Food website.

Comment: This place is close to my work so sometimes i visit it for lunch. Has a wide variety of food trucks that come by every day with plenty of outdoor seating. On Tuesdays, they have trivia night which is always fun and the prizes are tied to the street park. Happy hour is my favorite time to go because a pitcher of sangria is half off and the sangria is tasty! Sometimes bad weather might limit the amount of food trucks that are open but there is always at least 3 open and the food is tasty. They have a skeeball machine in the back but it was broken last time i went. Lost a quarter. On weekends or important game days, they host events and they are usually quite popular. It is great for brunch as well.

Comment: I give it 1 stars because of the very unpleasant experience at SLIP AND SLURP NOODLE BAR truck. I was waiting in front of the wrong window for few minutes when this other lady with dog approached and started ordering food, so i asked her nicely to make me go first since I was there waiting for few minutes at the wrong window and not being acknowledged. She kindly let me go first, I was with my child by the way. So as I go to place the order, the food guy tell me to wait and called back the lady who was there before, which at this point was away looking at people playing, but he ignored me and told me to wait, and called that lady who couldnt even hear him, so I called her for him and told her, The guy want YOU to order food, so please go ahead. At that point, this guy really pissed me off, his rudeness was very offensive so I left and went to a different food truck which was actually better food.My daughter on the other end went back there and ordered a plate of noodle and came back with the wrong change. Upon asking her, how much she paid with tip and all, I realized that Noodle Bar truck actually stole my daughter an whole dollar out of the change he owe her. What a scam bag of a business, really awful practice taking change from kids, and the noodles she ordered tasted Not that good either, to me. She liked them, fair enough.

Comment: Overall I love the variety here and the events they host. Location-wise it can be a little bit rough to find parking (especially if you arent comfortable parallel parking). I usually come here when its packed. However, I went last weekend during the day when it was super empty and pigeons had their run of the place -- hopping on tables, chairs, anywhere there could have been scraps. It made me a bit uncomfortable knowing a table I chose to eat at could have recently had been walked all over by birds. Im unsure how often the tables and chairs are disinfected at Soma StrEat Food Park but something to be aware of.

Everytime I come here, I drop a minimum of twenty-seven bucks on three trucks and two drinks for myself. However, with a date you better double that and tact on another 15%. Not necessarily with the food itself (which was very good by the way, I got the Korean BBQ wings thing) but with the park entirely. There were TVs set up to watch the ball game, and a place that served mimosas all you can drink in the morning. Theres nothing like that where Im from and I loved it. Comment: Hosting a rotating fleet of food trucks, you can generally choose from 6 to 7 food trucks on a given day, including at least one for dessert such as ice cream. Theres a permanent truck for beer and wine, and both outdoor and indoor seating options, the latter being provided by a repurposed school bus (a hit with the kids) and a large barn structure with music and televisions (popular on game days). As far as the food goes, the experience varies by design, and on rainy days some of the food trucks dont open. But in general, this is a great place for a group of folks with diverse tastes. The only thing missing is a coffee stand.

Comment: This place is the perfect SF solution to eating out with the family. There are fun games to play, and everyone can choose their own style of food. Totally casual and high chairs available (although bring wipes...). Sports games on TVs and social media fun for all! They have a running stream of Tweets and IG posts - go ahead and take a family photo, hashtag SoMaStreetFoodPark and feel like a celebrity when your post comes up on the big screen! Heaters inside the barn for chillier evenings, but plenty of varied seating options, inside, outside, standing, benches, etc. Been there in every weather from hot and sticky to torrential downpour and still been comfy. I know they have restrooms, but I have never been inside so I cant speak to those.Did I mention they have a bar? I mean, drink truck? Beer, (I think wine too), and non-alcoholic bevs ranging from coffee and tea to lemonade, soda and water.I love this place so much because despite having all the potential to become scene-y, it has such varied comfort zones that it remains appealing to everyone. There are families, non-irritating tech-bros, sports fans, hipsters, and everyone in between - did I mention its dog friendly too?! I will say that its best to check the Warriors/Giants/Niners/Sharks schedules before heading over (particularly the Warriors) because it can become heavily sports dominated during these times and its just good to know ahead of time. I follow them on IG so I can see whats going on there for the day when Im thinking about going. And although occasionally you have to run the gross smokers gauntlet on the way in, there is no smoking allowed inside the actual park.Although Ive never been, Im told they do Vegan Sundays too - not a vegan, but cant wait to check that out sometime soon! I believe you can also reserve space for special events. Seriously, I have yet to find a more completely amazing venue in SF! I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Comment: Theres a lively atmosphere with music playing. There are plenty of food types to select from: burgers, tacos, ice-cream, noodles, etc. Its pretty pricey, but you are paying for the experience in conjunction with the food. You wont find parking nearby, so its best to know youll be walking for a bit to get to it. The photo I included is the dish Calypso Shrimp from the Caribbean Spices food truck.

Comment: A fun spot to come for lunch or dinner, with lots of options for every palate. Choose from one of anywhere between 5-10 different trucks, all with yummy options and great food. A little pricy, because everything in SF is expensive, but theres an ATM on-sir if you need cash and most places take cards. Lots of seating available, as well.

Comment: Ive been too food truck parks in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta and New York. The Soma StrEat Food park takes the crown from Atlanta as the best one Ive been too. Its kind of hard not to be number one when your serving bottomless mimosas. As you Probably assumed I started the my food truck tour off with a mimosa in hand. First thing ordered was the bulgogi Nachos. These were to die for. The dish consists of tortilla chips topped with Bulgogi beef and Kimchi! PERFECT COMBINATION. The beef was tender and sweet And the kimchi added some needed spice to the dish. These nachos were excellent. The other item I tried were the fish tacos, these were delicious as well. The tacos had large chunks of Fish and fresh pico de gallo.Usually when I go to a food truck park I wind up trying some Meh items before getting to the good stuff. Although I didnt try much the things I did try were great. And the Mimosas are the icing on the cake. I will definitely return on my next SF trip and plan on having a bigger appetite to try more stuff.

Comment: More than your average street food park. Not only is this a parking lot for food trucks, but they also host fun events during the week and on weekends, like trivia night, crab feasts, etc.My only complaint is that I wish there was more variety to the trucks. Its often the same ones, and there are only about 8 at a time, so the options can get old quickly.

Comment: Usually pretty festive, even on non event days. Great place to watch a bay area sports game if the weather allows. Limited inside heated seating, plenty of outside seating. Food selection varies on a rotation basis, but if you love street trucks, cant go wrong. Alcohol van on permanent basis, serves good micro drafts and typical bottled selection. Wine and Sangria too. Happy hour 4-7pm week days. $3 drafts. Clean restrooms, ATM. Missing one star for lack of trucks on a Warriors playoff game night.

Comment: This place is so fun. They basically converted a parking lot into a food cart festival and they host events on nights and weekends. It has a really cool vibe and theres always something for everyone to eat. I would definitely recommend stopping by here or checking out their event schedule as they always have things going on. But be warned: if you try to go on National Grilled Cheese Day you might not be able to get in.

Comment: This is like the Disneyland of food trucks. They offer a rotating band of trucks that vary from Japanese to Mexican to Burmese to American. They curate their trucks really well and always have something good for even the pickiest eater. You can always check on their website for the latest on their offerings. They have a beer/wine cart that offers liquid refreshment after you have filled your belly with some good grub. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and have TVs so you dont have to miss the game whilst eating. They have events throughout the year as well so make sure you check the calendar on their website before you embark. Be aware, when the weather is nice and their is a Giants or 49s game this place can be bananas.

Comment: Exactly what I want from a food truck park. Many delicious options - lots of American and Asian cuisine. Covered, clean, well maintained seating. Theres even a sizeable indoor seating area, so you wont get wet even if its windy and rainy. On clear, nice days the seating can fill up around lunchtime. My favorite truck is Bacon Bacon.

Comment: Came here today for the 1st time for National Ice Cream Day to try specifically Bacon Bacon Thats That ice cream sandwich made with Humphry Slocombe malted chocolate ice cream and BBs bacon chocolate chip cookies, then hand dipped in chocolate. The sandwich is a chocoholic bacon lovers dream for $7. Rich, decadent, the bacon enhances the chocolate taste. The line to purchase was long and slow. The place is not that large so it does get crowded fast. There isnt much seating, and being an unusually sunny, hot humid day, the indoor, or covered, seating was completely taken by noon. The live DJ club mixes playing over the speakers gave the Food Park a party atmosphere. Friends, families, couples make up the crowd with some bringing their cute, small dogs, including me. Get there as close to open to have the chance of finding metered street parking (and Sundays are free!)

Ive tried three different salads: The New Greek Salad, Greens, Walnuts and Dried Cranberry Salad and most recently the Spinach, Dates, Goat Cheese. All the salads have been fresh and delicious, but my favorite is the Walnuts and Dried Cranberry salad because its lighter.Ive gone during the lunch hour rush and the place is packed plus its hard to get a table. Ive taken it to go twice but my friend and I got lucky and seats opened up at the bar. Its a fun hip new salad place and you need to try it if you enjoy salads for lunch.

Comment: Ive been here a couple of times, and the food options are amazing! Theres enough variety where you want to try a little of each truck! The seating is a bit cramped, and more so if theres an event.i went here to see one of the FIFA matches, and there was no place to sit at all, and barely enough room to walk around. But on most days, youll find a place to sit. Its mostly outside seating, but there is indoor seating if its not reserved.Check out their Twitter feed or website for events. Comment: Great place to enjoy the SF food truck scene. Unlike Off the Grid which you have to follow or be in the know, here you just show up and trucks will follow you. Its a mix between a beer garden and an after-club parking lot. So many different trucks. From wood fired pizza to rotisserie chicken to asian tacos. You get a little bit of everything. Great place to watch sports at night. In the day time some of the screens are a little hard to see though. Hate when they charge admission for certain events. But still a great place.

Comment: This place is pretty fun to go with friends, you look around and spot what you want to eat. Ive gotten really good BBQ pull pork sliders, donuts, tacos and fries on different occasions. You have many choices of seating, inside, outside, in the sun or the shade. The most recent time I came here to volunteer at La Cocina fund raiser, Chicken Fried Dinner. They set up a kitchen at one end and tables for different companies, you went around with a bucket and grabbed various fried chicken dishes and filled your bucket, grab a dinner and sat down to enjoy your food. Comment: Wonderful, urban vibe here. When I went, there was a truck selling Middle Eastern food from which I ordered a gyro salad... delicious, rich, and filling. I also had a ginger lemonade from a drink truck. My only nit was that I wished theyd turned on the bistro lights. It was dusk during my meal and they would have looked amazing. I hope to see more urban spaces like this one in SF.

Comment: This place is like a food lovers dream and San Francisco is pretty much home base to an army of food lovers. Every day is a rotating wheel of food trucks, typically 7-10 trucks on any given day offering a nice variety of options. There are daily happy hour specials on drinks and unique events every week. The great thing about the events is that they are themed. All of the food trucks there during the event are offering specific type of food and drinks to match. There are plenty of seating with large TVs, making it a great spot to watch games. Worst come to worst and you just dont like any of the food trucks there, the Food Park is conveniently located across the street from Costco, so you can always get yourself a $1.50 hot dog and soda.

Comment: There are not many fast food options in this part of SOMA when you want to get something quick to eat (other options being Crepes a Go-Go and DNA cafe). Its awesome theyve got wifi but sitting outside can get rather cold. They have seating inside a heated tent area thats a bit better. This is a great spot to go with a group because everyone can get what they want, like an outdoor food court. Plus theyve got alcohol. The downside is that the vegan or veggie offerings are limited when you want something healthy. The prices are also gourmet food truck prices which can mean $8-10 for a sandwich. Ive walked through here more than once and walked away unable to find a suitably healthy (read: big veggie salad) and well priced meal.

Comment: This is a review of Bobcha @ Soma Streat Food Park.As I have gotten older, and my metabolism has slowed to about half speed, I have had to make some very unfortunate sacrifices, including downgrading my carb intake from thick sliced white bread and an extra serving of Japanese rice every day, to veggies and wheat bread or other alternatives.Ofcourse for the sake of my mental sanity I have my occasional cheat day, and when I do I want each gram of carbs and sugar to be really worthwhile.I was sad when I spent that day at Bobcha. This is a review of Bobcha @ Soma Street Food Park.Bacon Bulgogi Burrito ($7.75) add egg ($1) - 2 STARS. This burrito, which should by default include both kimchi and an egg ($1 extra each), was dissatisfying but large. The meat was low quality, but worse yet was the overly sweet red sauce that ruined the entire burrito. It was chock full of very mediocre non-bacony rice, and the very hard cooked egg was no saving grace.Johns Snack Deli is still by far my favorite spot for a Korean Burrito. Save your money and daily carb/calorie intake and head somewhere else if you find yourself at Soma Streat Food Park.

Comment: Just when I thought there wasnt an answer to the mayhem that is Off the Grid, SoMa StrEat Food Park pops up close to home. In my opinion, it really solves the (sometimes good, sometimes bad) craziness of Friday nights at OTG in the Marina. Reasons stated below:1. Organization - Clear parking for each food trucks, sheltered (!), heated (!!!) communal seating area in the middle, and bathrooms are all available.2. Popularity - This may change, but opening night was busy, but not insane last night. There were short lines and I got my food pretty quickly without having to fight through a huge crowd and wait in a Disneyland line. Lets hope that since SSFP is open 7 days a week, that itll be manageable.3. Cleanliness - There were cleaning staff on hand that were quick and efficient. Literally seconds after a party stands up to leave a table, they were there to pick up any scraps left behind and wipe down the tables. Are there any spots for a tip jar?4. Parking - Itd take me (coming from South Beach) 20 minutes to get to the Fort Mason OTG location, then spend another 20 minutes finding parking. Here, its easy peasy. Drive to around Division/Bryant or Division/10th and theres PLENTY of street parking available. Its unlimited past 6pm!5. Location - Its kind of in the middle of nowhere, which is good in my opinion. You dont have to fight with other crowds or traffic and theres ample parking. Its also in a warmer part of the city, which cant be faulted.6. Wifi - I havent tried out the Wifi yet, but if it works, then all the better to just sit there, grab a few bites, and hang out. Maybe putting up clearer signs around the Wifi info would be good for the organizers.7. Future prospects - Beer garden & movie nights? Sign me up!My only fear is the food truck rotation. Hopefully a good variety keep showing up and that there is a documented rotation on the site or Facebook page. If the same trucks keep showing up, itd kind of lose the magic. For opening night, I personally would have chosen a few other food trucks (do people really eat sandwiches for dinner?), but thats just me.In the end, Ive found a place for me to go to when I dont want to deal with the expensive sit down restaurants near me, where I can drive to in less than 10 minutes and find parking. Thanks to the organizers!

The owner also provided a honey sauce for me and my lady to try and it did not disappoint. The taro bun is made fresh daily and the chicken was perfectly fried. Check this place out!
