Comment: Danielle has been wonderful for my daughter’s skin. She is always explaining things thoroughly & is very patient. She understands different kinds of skin & different ages of skin. She makes you feelConfident & hopeful, never ashamed. Her recommendations have been super helpful. I’ve even called in to ask questions after a procedure just to find her super willing to help & again, recommending helpful ideas to get through the post chemical peel process. I have been to her for facials. We both love their products. They do offer a discount if you purchase products the days you have a procedure. Highly recommend. Review completely unsolicited.

Comment: Sticker Shock! They charge $100 up front to make an appointment. I showed up for my appointment at 2:30. The receptionist was nice, the waiting room was comfortable, and the woman who walked me back to the examination room was pleasant. The nurse examined the redness on my neck, but was unable to diagnose. After I told her the name of my skin condition, she confirmed by looking it up on her phone and told me that my condition would require 3 ipl laser sessions at $750 per session to treat an are approx. 4 inches by 4 inches, about a 10 minute session. So the total price for 3 10 minute sessions is $2,250. When I commented about the high price, she said the machine cost $150,000. I looked it up and they range anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000. I then asked if she could guarantee results, she stated that the treatment might not be effective at all. I had a real dermatologists use that same type of machine about 5 years ago to stimulate collagen production in my face and neck, and she only charged $350 for a 30 minute session. Regardless of price, I can not let someone this unknowledgeable treat my skin with these types of machines that can do serious and permanent damage in the wrong hands.

Comment: Over a year ago, I visited this location for laser hair removal but unfortunately had a poor experience. The person in charge, Julie, was condescending and discouraged me by repeatedly commenting on the high price, despite the fact that I had no issue paying upfront. This made me feel uncomfortable and humiliated. Why imply that a client cant afford a treatment when theyre paying upfront? Needless to say, I didnt go back. Instead, Ive been traveling to the Bay Area for most of my needs, which is inconvenient. I felt compelled to share my story since Ive noticed similar experiences happening to others. In my opinion, treating clients with basic respect should be a fundamental aspect of running a business

Comment: If your looking to perk up your skin I recommend Dissapearing Act.I originally came in for a small tattoo removal.After getting that started I noticed some of the procedures they had to offer.It was not lost on me that all the clientele were very pleased coming and going.So I dove in, made an appointment for a BBL laser treatment. The results are amazing.I’ve had a few more little tune ups here and there. My tattoo is pleasantly Dissapearing. I’ve been happy with all the things I’ve chosen to work on.One of the things I like is the staff are all very easy to work with. From the appointment making to the check out process everyone is very pleasant. They answer all my question and make sure I understand what to look for from start to finish.So if your thinking about it, give them a call. You won’t be sorry. I feel so much better about my skins texture and over all glow.

Comment: Went in for a consultation for laser hair removal some time ago and decided not to go with them because of how inconsiderate there office staff was. I was filling out my paperwork just to hear them complain about how bad it smells and how annoyed they were about having another laser customer. Keep in mind the smell only happens if you dont properly shave and it burns a longer hair

Comment: I love this place! The staff I have encountered have all been amazing, kind, and professional. At this office, I have received Miradry from Julie and facial Botox from several of the nurses. Julie was awesome with the Miradry. She did a wonderful job educating me on the procedure and what to expect afterwards so I did not have any surprises afterwards. The healing process was quick and my underarms were only sore for about 5 days. Now, I have less underarm hair and no sweating so it was a win/win. Yay!! I would recommend this procedure for anyone who has suffered from excessive sweating as the results are permanent and the procedure is overall cheaper than underarm Botox every 6 months. As for the facial Botox, I fully trust all of the nurses as they are all highly trained and skilled in the art of enhancing your natural beauty. They do not make you look like plastic unless you request that. The office staff have also been very friendly and can answer any questions I have. Overall, this is one of the best places in the north state!

Comment: I called for laser acne treatment, and the women on the phone booked me the appointment, saying they offer it. When I get there the lady in a small black dress, (who really should be in scrubs, it’s unprofessional) tells me they don’t offer anything like that and that she’s never even HEARD of it.If you do not offer the service, why book an appointment. You wasted my time.If you do not know about this kind of laser, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I don’t know if the women was trying to be rude but she was, and was very uneducated.Not the type of people I want working on my face anyway.Waste of my time.

Comment: I have been to every place in Redding and even in Chico for botox and fillers. I was amazed at how comfortable and confident they were in doing the injections since I get them around my lower eye area (filler), I couldnt have been happier with the service and the price. They have all been there for a long time and it is obvious they do continued education. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN. I have also had two local dermatologists do injections and they just were not confident in what they were doing. I have been getting both botox and fillers since 1997 and I finally found a home at Disappearing Act. I would encourage you to go and give them a try.
