Totally understand.I rescheduled again for 06/22.They called this morning to confirm my appointment only to call again end of day to say it was canceled last minute again.I understand that things happen, but I think it is so unprofessional to let me know last minute not once, but twice. Especially since I know if the roles were reversed I’d be charged a fee.Don’t bother unless you want your time wasted.

Comment: I received a link to complete forms a day before my scheduled appointment. I called because I had a concern regarding the Consent To Treat/Informed Consent Form. I was told I would need sign it, confirming I had received thorough knowledge of risks, etc. involved with my service before I could even be seen for a consultation. I wasn’t comfortable signing the form stating such since it hadn’t been done, so I was told I couldn’t be serviced. I find it quite unusual that a med spa would enforce a rule like that. It’s unethical to have clients sign forms “to ensure that they have been informed about their procedure, the risks and the benefits” when it didn’t happen.

I always try to schedule my appointments but occasionally Im near by and will do a walk in and they are always willing to fit me into their busy schedules. Everyone is so nice and knowledgable. The front desk staff is phenomenal. The nurses are the sweetest. The NP at Weho is amazing. I always do my treatments with RN Alma. She really takes her time and explains everything so thoroughly to me. One thing the med spa doesnt do very well is advertise just how truly painless their laser hair removal is!! Ive been to other med spas where they say their laser is painless and it is not but at this place, you really dont feel a thing and it gives great results!

Allison told me that one of them were still healing so I said ok we can treat the healed one and Allison said she can’t do that. I am being discriminated against and treated unfairly. The people working there took 30 minutes to find a vein, did not offer her any water or check up on her, and did not mix the IV drip bag in front of her nor inform her of what exactly she was getting. She ended up leaving this med spa feeling worse than when she came in. After 24 hours, still no effects and the whole experience felt transactional. They also asked for her to tip before the service was even provided. I wish I could get the money back as this experience was not worth it at all.

Comment: I came to Cienega Med Spa before my wedding and met with Abigail and would *highly* not recommend the experience to others.My experience is detailed below:Making an appointment was easy and they quickly gave me a room. Abigail, however, was 15 minutes late with no communication. I thought they forgot about me as I was just sitting in the room alone aimlessly. Once she did arrive, I initially got a great vibe from her; she’s knowledgeable, kind, and funny.I verbalized that I definitely wanted botox and to discuss and educate about fillers. She discussed topics thoroughly and answered all questions in a helpful manner. Upon completion of her assessment, she recommended 36 units of botox and to do fillers a different day. I explained that the most Botox I have ever done is 22 units and there is no way I’m about to do 36 units before my big day. I do not want to appear frozen for my wedding, I just want to look refreshed and have movement in the eyebrows. She kept pushing and pushing that I must get my chin done and must do my eyebrows, etc. It felt like she was refusing to take no for an answer.The next 10 minutes felt like a back and forth uncomfortable negotiation of her trying to sell me on more units. She was simply not taking no for an answer, it was so pushy. After finally giving up and agreeing to 26 units, she exited the room and a gentleman came in telling me I needed to pay prior to services rendered.I’m newer to LA so I’m not sure if this is a common practice in this city but I was completely astonished that they would ask such a thing. It made me feel like a criminal as though I would ever even consider walking out on them unpaid. I’ve gotten Botox many times in the past in various cities and this has never been my experience. You always pay after the service!Anyways, I paid and the service was about to be provided. I’m awful with needles and shared this piece of vital information with Abigail. Most nurses when told this, typically jump into high gear knowing that their patient can faint on them and it is a medical and safety concern. It is common to be given ice, water, or sugar (sweets), and to be watched for additional time post-injection. Instead, she scoffed when I asked her for water or an ice pack in preparation. When she was done she simply walked out of the room and wished me a good day telling me she was leaving the door open in case I needed something from the front desk staff. This was the icing on the cake for me. In the medical world, when someone tells you that they struggle with needles you must take them seriously! I have encountered nursing students that took this bit of information more seriously than Abigail did. If I faint, do you really think the front desk staff would hear me or even know what to medically do?As if all of this wasn’t enough, guess what? My entire eyebrow and forehead region was dead frozen, losing my ability to show emotion for my wedding. Exactly what I pleaded with her multiple times to not happen.I must reiterate that I would highly not recommend Cienega Med Spa or Abigail.

The Santa Monica location is pretty good as well and I loved the woman Doctor (beautiful blonde) who explained things to me and was very thorough and honest with me about everything about what to expect and what my experience would probably be. I have been to the La Cienga location 3 times and the nurses do an excellent job of administering the i.v. but then again..I have vascular arms so that helps! 💪🏻 Be patient while they are doing it, look away and think of something that has nothing to do with what you are doing. I hear it take a day or so to notice the full effects of a hydration i.v. but imo well with it! I haven’t tried any beauty treatments yet but hope some day. Parking is available in the garage below and on the street and people watching and dog watching is fun while relaxing in very comfortable lounge chair with snacks. Thx guys!!

They are always on time with appointments, so if you need to quick turnaround at lunchtime, this is the place to go. The staff is super friendly - Sam at the front desk is very positive, and youll find that attitude throughout the spa. Nobody hard sells you on products to buy, though there are some for sale. And most importantly, they are professional with a very knowledgeable staff. I live in the Valley but make the trek to weho because this spot is much better than my local medspa. I also want to note that the ability to make online appointments is a huge plus. Its so simple. The only feedback I have is that they should add the ability to book multiple procedures at once. You can book back-to-back reservations, but thats a little bit of a guessing game if youre not sure how long the first procedure will last. Overall, would strongly recommend this clean and professional medspa!

Comment: I dont like posting bad reviews, but I felt this could be useful for other customers. I used to love this place, been coming here for 5 years, and it used to always be a pleasant experience, but now, especially with their new policies (which seem to be more focused on increasing profits than customer service) there always seems to be an issue. For example, I did a keloid treatment recently, they told me they raised the price from $45 to $75, I wasnt going to do it, but they told me I can get free touch ups under the new price. So I agreed and when I tried to schedule a touchup, they told me I have to pay $75 again as the free touch ups only apply for acne (which I never did with them). When I brought it up with management, they just said that Id have to pay 75 again or cancel it, as the front desk probably didnt know when they told me (which doesnt seem like it should be my problem, plus a good business would make it right, instead of just blaming the front desk or the customer.) Needless to say I am not happy with this bait and switch situation, or how it was handled, and disappointed with the direction this place is going... Hopefully they can get back to their old customer-focused ways 🤞

My hair use to be so thick and dark and would grow back fast. When I use to shave I would get razor bumps and irritation. Now that I’ve used laser, my hair grows back so slowly, so thin and light. I have been able to cut back on shaving very minimally and I don’t even get irritation anymore! The laser appointments only take 45min-1hr once a month which is so worth it! Comment: I’ve been coming to the WeHo location for several years to get Botox and lip filler. What brought me in is that they do half a syringe on the lips. Other places only do full syringes. Why I keep coming back? - It’s easy to book an appointment online or by phone. - Their hours and availability are super convenient for my unpredictable schedule. - When I come for Botox, I see Allison and we are done in less than 30 minutes. Other places a whole hour or more from my day. - I like to keep a list of the nurses I see here and ask for them by name when I schedule my next appointment. It’s important you ask for someone whose work you like. It is a large office, so you could end with someone new treating you each time. I always find street parking. Their waiting area is relaxing and high tech. Staff is always friends.

Comment: It took me a while to write this because I’ve been bed ridden& focusing on my health & recovery. I had very high hopes, I did the cool sculpting procedure the first day I visited because I was sold. The people were nice but very dishonest. I was told I would experience tingling and maybe slight discomfort during the procedure yet the lady Abigail was telling me how great I was doing because “people break down in tears during this sometimes” but I was telling her how it wasn’t bad at all. That contradiction should’ve been the first red flag. I asked what would I feel after the procedure and each woman there that i talked to said that it would be the same. Tingling, numbness, and maybe slight pulling or discomfort at the treatment area. This was a lie, and a completely underwhelming example. I experienced a month of excruciating nerve pain and I am still not recovered to this day. I went to urgent care and the doctor admitted me to the ER because she said based on my symptoms i needed a cat scan to see if there was any internal bleeding& they didn’t have that at urgent care. I will never in my life have that procedure done ever again and I am looking into lawyers to file a lawsuit against this spa as well as cool sculpting as a company to at the very least get a refund and my hospital bills paid for. I was so hurt & disgusted to find out about other patients like me after I did it, after me deep researching my symptoms. I absolutely do not recommend going here. Ever.UPDATE: now someone from the spa has replied to my comment claiming that they don’t have anyone in their data base by my name yet i emailed them, called & was serviced on July/31/2020 with all receipts. Stay away from these people

This was my first time getting a vitamin injection/ shot... and Allison, a nurse, explained everything to me and really listened to my concerns and put me completely at ease. I eat a health conscious diet and have been practicing yoga for many years, but for a long time i havent quite felt myself, low energy and heavy mood - and I can honestly tell you that after my first vitamin shot, its the best Ive felt in over 3 years! Ive had 5 visits to Cienega Med Spa with the most recent a few hours ago, where JJ greeted me enthusiastically at reception, my nurse was Chrissy, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful - its such a pleasure to encounter people who are so committed and passionate about their work. My hair is almost all gone after 6 sessions. They have very nice offices and their laser is great (Alma Soprano ICE). I did my research and this is the best laser in the industry by many reviewers. Thats very important. The front desk is very polite. Everyone wears masks and comply with COVID rules and restrictions.Its important to understand that your hair will not be gone after a few sessions. Youll need 6 at least. Just so you dont set the wrong expectations. I guess it depends on a hair type, but I did my research and some places lie to you saying you need only few, but thats not true. At Cienega they explain this to you as well.Hair removal is actually done by registered nurses! It makes it comfortable being nude when its in front of a medical professional. They use a lot of gel and make the session virtually painless. Super professional.The place is spotless and youre treated like a VIP every time. Really impressed and happy I made a decision to book my sessions here after seeing some horror stories from Groupon places.After all, I will be back here for other services they offer and to treat a few other areas.Good customer service goes a long way.

Comment: I went in for a consultation for laser hair removal at the West Hollywood location. I have had it done at other places in the past a number of years ago, but always found it to be extremely painful, so I never even thought of doing it on my chest as it wouldve hurt too much. After searching online for a pain free laser hair removal place in LA, I came across the Cienega Med Spa. I went in for a consultation and was skeptical. The nurse offered to do a patch test, and to my surprise it was incredibly bearable. I did my full chest and abs there and then and bought a package deal. I am very satisfied with the level of customer service, the cleanliness and the design of the place. Everyone was very friendly and informative. And of course, the laser hair removing was amazing. My only critique would be it would be nicer if they werent piping club music throughout the spa, Id imagine something lower tempo would be more appropriate, but thats just me, and thats a small, SMALL price to pay for the overall great experience I had there.

The results have been great so far and the customer service from the time you walk through the door to right before you leave is phenomenal. They really do their best to make you feel comfortable and if anything needs to be adjusted then they do their best to account for that. My nurse for the past two times has been Nancy and shes been really great. Tried to get another nurse but no one available for another 15 mins. So 1 hour after scheduled appointment, I had to cancel due to time constraints. Good news is I got a full refund and a free shot. Bad news I couldn’t get the extra shot that the nurse offered initially as it came with a charge. Plenty of better options around for IV.
