Comment: I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE SAMANTHA. I am new to Redding and new to having a facial. I jumped with both feet and decided to do a chemical peel, but I had a lot of reservations. Being a person with skin color I was worried that my face would be damaged using a specific acid. Samantha was so kind and so patient with me and explained all the pros and cons. She suggested a progressive peel and she took her time making sure that I was fine every step of the way. She will NOW forever be my go-to person for all skincare. Thank you, Samantha, for doing such an amazing job and for being so good at what you do. By the way, my skin looks amazing.

Comment: This place is amazing! I got a massage and a facial and with both they were really paying attention to the details. I felt like I didn’t have to go into specifics about where the problem areas were. On both the massage and facial they found where needed to be addressed, and took care of it. For the facial Samantha went above and beyond by going into detail on what was happening with my skin and how I could clean up my skin care routine and simplify everything to my liking. She even had me send pictures of what I had so she could show me how to use them.And for the massage, Misti found the spots where I was hurting, worked on them, and also helped me get a deeper stretch to address them.If you’re looking for a place to go. This is it!

She is patient and accommodating, always goes the extra mile to make sure your comfortable and taken care of.She also works very well with a busy schedule.The atmosphere from when you walk is is very calming and comfortable. She explains everything she does and makes sure to answer any and all questions you may have. Samantha goes the extra mile and makes the experience amazing! I went for an acne consultation, she had a whole different approach on clearing acne, working from the inside out not just trying to push you to by her products. We sat down and went through all of my products telling me what ingredients can cause acne and the ones that don’t. She told me I can finish up old products so I don’t waist money and recommend drug store products and professional products I could try. She also does my lashes, she asks me what I am looking for and we brainstorm together to come up with the best lash pattern to fit my eyes. I couldn’t recommend the company( especially Samantha) enough, if you book you will not regret it!

I cannot speak to her in person services.On Monday, April 11th I placed an order from Absolut Skin Care and Spa. Their shipping policy states:I ship USPS on all of our orders. Standard shipping takes 2 to 3 business days from 12 noon PST on the date your order is entered into our system. Please note that order processing takes place from Monday through Friday. In-stock orders are shipped within 24 hours.Given this timeline the order should have shipped out latest Thursday, April, 14th.After not hearing anything all week, on Monday, April 18th (a week after the order was placed) I emailed 2x inquiring about my order and requesting a cancellation. After I requested the cancellation I received a blunt email from the owner:This order was already shipped out.To which she was referring that she shipped it out on (Tues, 04/19) after receiving my cancellation request.She was not helpful, did not follow her own polices, refused to cancel my order, and acted like she did not see my previous two emails even though she responded directly to them.I am not happy with the business service OR the customer service and would NOT recommend ordering online through them.I placed the order Monday 4/11 at 10:16pmBy Monday 4/18 I had received NO communication and NO confirmation of shipping.On 4/18 at 9:46pm I requested a cancellation.On 4/19 at 8:46pm the owner responded with: “This order was already shipped out”The shipment confirmation was sent to me on Tuesday 4/19 at 12:36pm - after I requested a cancellation.

Not much changed and I didnt like the idea of taking an antibiotic daily...so I decided to go the holistic route:Enter in Absolute Skin Care! 👏👏👏I was referred to Absolute Skin Care by a relative and I havent looked back since!! Walking into the spa I instantly felt comfortable and relaxed, the space was beautiful and very clean. Sam was so sweet and fun to talk to, she sat with me and took the time to talk about my skin, concerns, and regimen. The products she uses are great quality and the facial was top notch! Comment: Fallon at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. This mini spa itself is very clean and calming. The esthetician customized the facial for me. She explains what products that will be the best for my skin. She shares some natural method how to take care dark circle around my eyes. I can even do it at home which is a bonus. If youre really into fancy spas with free coffee/tea maker, candles, leather couches, so on. You will not find it here. What you do find is an affordable, comfortable place that offers variety of facials, body treatments, and other services. I enjoyed it very much. I definitely recommend this mini spa for everyone.

Comment: I had a good experience my first time coming to Sam. So when I wanted lashes again, it was no question where I wanted to take my business. However, she had me sign up with a different artist and assured me she is just as great. And I trusted her. The artist took 3.5 hours instead of the 2.5 ... Struggled the whole time. You could hear her sighing and feel her shuffling around in my lashes. She picked at them a lot. It just didnt feel smooth like all the other times Ive gotten my lashes done. I felt so bad about how disappointed I was and could tell she tried her best, I paid and said thank you. And even tipped. Then I contacted Sam to let her know how dissatisfied I was in the work and would like them removed and my money back, and she told me my behavior is uncalled for and asking for a refund is unacceptable. Then proceeded to tell me that my THIN FRAGILE lashes are the reason they werent placed correctly on my lashes. The artist lied and said I moved. Which I never did because I could tell she needed to focus. The only time I moved was when she lifted her hands off my face. I cannot believe the insulting manner. I think its real sad when business owners cant accept that their work doesnt fit the bill. And they blame and shame their customer instead of just making it right. Ill never go back to Sam. In fact, I had to block her number because she just wouldnt stop throwing the insults at me. I hope youre experience is better than mine.

Comment: I live in IL so I’m not able to see Samantha in person but she’s been amazing even remote. I was recommended Face Reality products by another clinic who wanted me to commit to a coaching program costing thousands and I wasn’t prepared to commit to that much money without knowing it would work. So I went to google to find somewhere where I could get these products (I had seen the brand work miracles for my brother) without the insane coaching costs. I came across Absolute Lash and Skin Care and found that Samantha only charges a $25 coaching fee so I went for it! She’s been great and is always sure to make recommendations, but also tell me where certain products can be optional based on my budget. I got pregnant just a couple weeks after my first product order and, despite the crazy hormonal changes that can happen in pregnancy, my acne has improved significantly since I started. Being a mom herself, who was actually pregnant at the time we started working together, Samantha has always made sure the products she suggests are safe for me to be using during pregnancy as well.
